We have stayed here quite a few times now and always happy with the experience. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. Elevator access and on site parking a plus. We also enjoyed dinner in the dining room. We like the town and the walks- it’s also very accessible by car from there to all the Boyne Valley monuments and attractions. Staff were lovely.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at the Boyne View house. Everything was so neat, clean, and the apartments had all modern appliances/ necessities. It was pet friendly which was very helpful since we were traveling with a service dog. I cannot express how lovely it was to meet Deirdre and Anthony. They even have tea, coffee, bread, jam, farm fresh eggs, and bread for us to make a lovely breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, and the location of the farm was perfect for our visit to Trim. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Our family loved it and will definitely return on a future trip.

Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart.
Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart. The guided tour of the keep is quite good. There is a friendly family of donkeys in a pasture just down the road from the castle and you are allowed to feed them (a sign with foods that are allowed is in the pasture). Trim is a great base for exploring Bru na Boinne, Mellifont Abbey, the Hill of Tara and other areas of interest. I actually;lly would have stayed 3-4 nights instead of 2, but we had reservations in a different area.

Trim castle is awesome!
Trim castle is awesome! The tour provides historical, anecdotal and architectural context for the structure, and the grounds have detailed markers and schematics to help you understand what you're seeing. We needed more time to explore the grounds, the ruined Abbey, and surrounding areas. Dinner at the Stock House restaurant provided a good steak and interesting decor to explore. Definitely a stop for a day or two on our next trip to Ireland.

We only stayed in Trim one night. We went to the castle which is in pretty good shape. Entry is free but you can pay for a guided tour of the Keep which you should do. We ate dinner at the Trim Castle Hotel in the Bailey Brasserie. It is a little expensive but we thought the meal was very good. The host was friendly and helpful. Came to the hotel for a wedding. Lovely scenery of the castle from the rooftop and some rooms. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My room was nice and had everything I needed and the breakfast was very nice. I paid €190 for 1 night stay in a double room which I thought was too expensive for a Monday night but overall I enjoyed my stay.AmyIreland - 10Scored 10

Trim is a beautiful town, with plenty to interest both adults and children. There are plenty of independent cafes and restaurants, making a lovely change from high streets with global chains. Lovely walks along the river and around the Norman castle, the focal point of the town.CarolUnited Kingdom

The cleanliness of the room was not good. The sink had mold and scum around the drain holes. Upon turn down. They never vac’d. Didn’t change bedding or sheets. The room is hot all the time. And only cools off if you leave heat down and open the doors. The lights off the back patio don’t work. All and all for the money of the hotel is wasn’t worth staying there for the value. Very disappointed actually.

The house was a lovely break and across from the hotel so that kids could safely go to and from the facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had family staying in rooms in the hotel too but personally, with children, the house was the better option for versatility. The golf was a great addition. We sat out on the patio after a long day and it was so refreshing. Pam provided every thing you could need, we had water and chocolate on our bedside table. And she prepared a lovely breakfast! Pam and Morris were so warm and welcoming. This is the place to stay if you are in the Trim area!
