Great view even from the golf course side. The breakfast was great. Oatmeal was great to have as an option. Everything was great. Did not dine at restaurant on site. Required speedo cap that was also provided by them was kind of ridiculous before entering pool. So we didn't use pool, although it was a nice pool area..

Moville & surrounding area has lots of good places to eat in (e.g. Rosatos in Moville, Kealy's Seafood Bar in Greencastle and The Point Bar in Magilligan - take the short ferry trip across from Greencastle for it). Rosatos also do takeaways. The two supermarkets in the town also offer a wide variety of food, with hot and cold deli counters etc.
There are several lovely beaches nearby (e.g. Tremone beach, Shrove and Culdaff).
While there are some big tourist attractions, like Malin Head, don't forget to check out the lovely Glenevin Waterfall near Clonmany & nearby Tullagh strand, maybe en route to/from Ballyliffin. Lovely gift shop too in Carndonagh, which has a very good Supervalue supermarket.
Don't leave Inishowen without visiting Wild Ireland too!

A nice little place with good places to eat and enough to do in the locality - pitch and putt, beaches, good walking route, pottery design etc.
Venues like Rosatos and the Cosy Cottage provide good eating options.
Locals are very friendly and helpful.

Patrick The Owner was EVERYTHING One could want in an Admirable Host, Informative, Helpful, Knowledgeable and everything one could hope for in an Owner he even booked us into the best Restaurant in Moville that was way above our expectations. Our Only Regret was that we could not stay there for at least a week as we had prebooked into another B&B in Sligo for next day! We have already planned to return to this Remarkable Historic Home with the Best Host we ever had in all our Travels around the World. P.S. We have no pecuniary Interest in this Home and this is just our Sincere Thoughts on a Beautiful Stay. Thanks To Patrick.

Would be a good base for anyone wanting to visit the rest of north of Donegal. I went to Malin Head and also took ferry from Greencastle which is up the road from Moville over to see the Gaint Causeway. There is a lovely beach on the way to Gaint Causeway - Castlerock Beach if you prefer this.
exceptional B&B, very very clean and hosts were just so friendly and nothing was a bother. The view is spectacular .
Best breakfast we have had in a long time , everything so fresh and local products all cooked to order everything is piping hot
great facilities ie iron if needed
toiletries provided in your room and fresh milk and bottled water in fridge outside room is great
would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back if coming to this part of donegal again (which we will as we fell in love with it )
My partner and I were immediately struck by the character of Moville Boutique Hostel. It's an ideal getaway location for those looking for more aesthetic value and cosy comfort than your large hotels, such as the Redcastle down the road, are able to deliver. There's also a cute library and a nearby farm. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay – and the room was particularly comfortable. We regret not having more time to spent in the hostel and the Moville area. Maybe we'll be back one day…
Patrick, the host, was among the friendliest persons we met in Ireland! He was so friendly and caring, and we had a great time chatting. He genuienly cares about his guests!
His B&B is amazingly beautiful, it was a whole experience by itself just being in the house. My brother and I (both 27) never been in an B&B before our stat ay Admiralty house, but this experience makes us want to not stay at hotels anymore ever again. Breakfast was also great!!
Rosie's Cottage is situated in an excellent location in order to explore Donegal. The cottage itself was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Its fully enclosed garden made it ideal for a dog friendly accommodation. Rosie herself was very friendly and accommodating and the little treats she left was a very nice touch. The view from the cottage was picture perfect.
Spindrift is a great place to stay for exploring Donegal. We stayed for a family trip. The kids loved the bunk beds and the house was immaculately clean. Our host provided everything we needed for a great stay and even checked in to see if we needed help with the heating when the weather got a bit cooler on day 2. Rosatos in Moville and the Treehouse in Muff are a must for food.
Colleen was an amazing host. She served a fabulous traditional Irish breakfast but also offered other choices. She’s very knowledgeable & suggested plenty of places for us to see/experience. Her home is so welcoming & warm. We loved staying there. We will definitely be back when we visit Co. Donegal again.
The breakfast was excellent, and was tailored to our wishes. Host and hostess were phenomenal. They even helped us reserve a table at a Moville restaurant. Location was excellent, as we were touring Inishowen. The home was easy to find, right on the main road.
The Cosy Cottage is in an ideal location close to Lough Foyle Ferry and a perfect base to tour Donegal. The food is lovely and they serve alcohol if you likes little tipple. Staff were more than accommodating, friendly and polite. I would visit again!
Self catering but there was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jams and butter. Also a bottle of wine 🍷 thank you James. The location was good. Coming from a lland locked county it was great to walk the sea walk. Good location for seeing east Donegal
Compared to other hotels, the room was large, which was a nice change. Facility was clean, parking close to the entrance, and staff was courteous & friendly. And yes, hot was was available at any time and at reasonable water pressure.
My cousin got married at the Red Castel on July 30th. The hotel staff were excellent, the food fabulous, the views breathtaking. The bar staff were the best ever! Front desk staff were very helpful with taxi's.
Friendly, helpful staff on arrival. We were only staying for the 1 night on our return home from Donegal. Room was spotless and bed was very comfy. Ample food for breakfast.
Would definitely stay again.
The hotel was in a very nice location, the view from the restaurant was stunning, the staff were very good and attentive, the place was clean. Places to walk nearby along the coastline.
Marie was an excellent Host, our rooms were comfortable and clean, and bed was very comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and we were close to all the rest of what Moville has to offer.
Location is great, only a few mins walk into center of Moville , but house is lovely quiet area. Perfect for large family or 2 x families with all bedrooms being on suite
