Derry has a lot of history.
Derry has a lot of history. Walk the walled city and visit one of the museums and/or the Guildhall to learn more. We stayed in a country inn about 20 minutes from the center, then found free parking at Ebrington and walked across the pedestrian bridge into the city.

We loved the choices of restaurant in the area.The food has to be some of the best i have ever had and lots of it. The Derry people are so friendly and help full. I am a native of Derry and love visiting there.

Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. Great shopping centre too - Dunne’s is a great shop !
