Nothing at all! This place was disgusting! I would never recommend this place to anyone. As soon as we walked in, it smelled bad, and none of the beds were made, and all the towels were dirty and in the sink. We literally walked in and right back out! Never again! I still haven't heard from anyone about reimbursement.

The ease of getting around the Town was amazing.
The ease of getting around the Town was amazing. Their Shopping Centre was class, one of the best I’ve seen, especially for a small Town, it had everything in it. There was a real buzz around the Town. Now I have to say that new Bridge from the Radisson Blu to the Old Town was amazing and so easy to get around. I was also able to get some lovely photos from the Bridge on both sides, a dream location for a novice Photographer. I will certainly be back with my Camera for more opportunities, which there are plenty of in Athlone.

Easy to get around , good pubs , and restaurants, Nice canal boat tours on the Shannon , and if lucky enough to see the army helicopter hovering before landing at med centre army base in centre of town . We loved the Church of St.
We loved the Church of St. Peter and Paul - they feature vivid and colourful stained glass windows made by Harry Clarke. We were in there for way longer than we anticipated, the art was so detailed and interesting. Athlone is vibrant lovely and tourist friendly town with good hotels,bars,restaurants and tourist activities.I brought 12 Danish guys there for 24 hours during a five day tour of Ireland. They loved it.Boat trip,live music,poker tournament in hotel,few pubs.Great craic!

The location is just a few kilometers from Athlone, which is in the center of Ireland. This made it ideal for us as we were looking to visit areas all over the island.
