The location and grounds of this hotel are SPECTACULAR. Book a lake view room, the views are incredible. We drove the entire ring of Kerry and my husband and I agreed the top 3 views included the ones right from bed in our room.. Bed is so comfy, breakfast was very nice with, again, views from the dining room. VIEWS EVERYWHERE! If I haven't convinced you to stay here, come at least for lunch. Easily one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed in. Truly unforgettable. Very close to Killarney... 5 minutes drive. Worth it.

Fabulous place to visit as once there you can have a great holiday without spending too much. Visit Muckross gardens and be blown away by the beautiful landscapes all free. So many walks to great sites which are free. We always hire bikes and have lunch out or bring a picnic. Celtic Steps the show at the racecourse is a must we have seen it several times. Great live music in pubs and so many restaurants to choose from. If you like fish I would suggest you go to the Mad Monk and for lunch eat at Muckross House restaurant. Excellent choices and good prices. Obviously ring of Kerry is a day trip that you should try to do. All depends on weather though!

I've been to Ireland a few times and Killarney is my favorite. Best spot: Gap of Dunloe. Took a jaunting car (horse/cart) from just past Kate Kearney's Cottage through the beautiful Gap of Dunloe. Ate two nights at Kate Kearney's Cottage: once on the outdoor patio and once inside - traditional Irish music and step dancers both nights. The town of Killarney is very walkable. This year we booked Killarney Falconry - great experience! We walked for about an hour with a Hawk and learned so much from our guide. At the end we got to hold a couple of owls. Everything was perfect! And don't miss the show Celtic Steps!
Should be a five star hotel! The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful and will definitely look after you during your stay, genuinely lovely people! Rooms are immaculate every time, lovely facilities and extremely comfortable bed. Amazing location, right on top of the town centre. If you’re going to stay in a hotel in Killarney, make sure it’s this one!
A real classy feel about this hotel. Located a few minutes walk from the town centre, great place to stay - would highly recommend.
Staff are excellent, front desk and bar/restaurant. great breakfast choices, and evening meals were delicious (so much so that, unusually, we ate in the hotel every night)
Staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was lovely. The hotel was perfectly situated between the national park and Killarney town centre. Would definitely stay here again!
