The room was comfortable, clean bed linen, nice layout. The ac worked, the electric kettle was good, and the safe worked, too.
The bartender was polite and very helpful.

Wexford has a fantastic selection of shops....many privately owned which makes a difference from many other towns.
We walked the length of the Quays looking @ the sea & back up through the town. Very easy to get around! Many coffee shops & pubs on the way.
Will definitely be back very soon!
Well done Wexford!

I lived there for seven years and I miss it. If you have not been go there. It has everything you need in a town. All shops are accessible by walking. It has a very good nightlife and you will not be stuck to find a good restaurant. The people there are very friendly. Fantastic beaches within a short drive. The problem when I go there I spend too much lol.

Friendly people ,lots of shops with character and individuality! Could do with more gastro pubs without spoiling the charm of this lovely town! Lots of things to do and see in Wexford especially in Gorey where there is a lovely town and lots of estates sites to visits seeped in history/ culture etc! Wexford is easy to get around on foot and by car! Loved Enniscorthy Castle well worth a visit! The seal sanctuary in Courtown is also well worth a visit!

We went to Wexford for the annual Opera Festival. The Opera House is delightful. Wexford itself is a vibrant place with lots of independent shops and restaurants and an interesting history dating back to Viking times. Of particular note was a restaurant called Jaspers (booking essential) in the Crown Quarter.
Lots of parking facilities and a compact town so easy to walk round.

Wexford is a beautiful harbour town with a great mix of shops. Lots of bars, which have plenty of live music each night, including 'Trad Nights' with traditional Irish music, also lots of eateries, sights to see, art galleries and a National Opera House. The twin churches are very pretty, make for a beautiful photograph from a distance and are both worth a look inside to make comparisons. It's only a short walk between the two. The short drive over Wexford Bridge towards Ferrybank takes you to the beach where the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan was filmed and in the other direction towards Rosslare, if you drive past Kelly's resort Hotel and keep on going and going along the little peninsula, there is a very interesting Lifeboat Memorial to be seen which looks over towards Wexford itself.

Wexford was just a stopover for us on the way to other places. We arrived at night and left in the morning. I think a day or two would have been good to explore, but we simply didn’t have time this trip.
This hotel was located across the river, out of the city's heart, but close to a gym and short riverside walk. The Wexford Bridge was basically at its door. I'd like to say we received a warm welcome but the receptionist was more officious than over-friendly; perhaps it was simply her manner. The restaurant/bar was welcoming and we ate and drank there several times. The food was delicious. Our room was adequate; the bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was great, good variety and the eggs benedict with salmon noteworthy.
I liked how close the property was to the National Opera House as this was the reason for our visit to Wexford. The shops were close by on the high street which was conveniently in walking distance also. We did not use any of the apartment kitchen facilities as we were only staying one night and did not require to cook etc. We had breakfast at the Talbot Hotel just down the block which was very good. Free secure parking was a welcome convenience. The rooms were clean and nicely laid out.
Beautiful country house hotel with friendly hosts and an abundant, delicious breakfast. thoughtful touches like tea and coffee and biscuits available all day. We travel with our dog and had a separate breakfast area which meant total relaxation. A short stroll down the hill takes you to the Wexford Walking Trail, which provides off lead possibilities for any holidaying Fido!
I loved the fact there is a pod coffee machine in the room, the location of the hotel itself is just incredible being a short walk from anything you'd need in wexford. Honestly I'm planning to stay here many more times in the future. No idea about how quiet it would be considering the fact it's above a pub but during the week days it was incredibly peaceful
Unique hotel where old meets new style . Had dinner in restaurant excellent quality . Great variety for breakfast . Travelling with kids they loved the swimming pool and onsite play ground . Ten mins drive to Wexford town - 15 mins drive to the fantastic curracloe beach .
Staff were very friendly especially the main guy in restaurant for breakfast .
This renovated gatehouse from the mid 1800's was the perfect place to spend our week in Wexford. Located close to everything. Walk to all. Ultra modern appliances. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen, and large screen tv. Strong Wifi. I was able to work remotely during the day from my laptop. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
All the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The room was the nicest of our 6 night stay. Clean and sockets near mirrors is a crucial thing for us ladies. Not a fault of the property but be aware it’s hard to get late food in Wexford. We couldn’t find anywhere except for the chippy and that was closed by the time we got to it :(
This was a wonderful relaxing stay with a few pampered bonuses thrown in for good measure! We were amazed by the 5 star breakfast spread! The best meal of our time in Ireland over the course of 8 days. An absolute gem of a place and the couple who own and manage it were lovely people and catered to every need without exception.
The best short holiday we ever had! My whole family and I, including my 3 months old baby had the best staycation we ever had. The hotel and facilities are so amazing. It deserves 4-5 stars! Staffs are excellent and so friendly. Definitely will come back again in the future. Highly recommended!
parking was convenient and inexpensive next door to hotel. The downstairs Restaurant and Bar was very cool vibe with a great Menu. The room was decorated in a fun eclectic vibe and it was pleasantly spotless which felt great after a long drive.
Good location. Wexford is a beautiful town. Hotel was centerly located outside the town. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with hot food. Also fruit and crossaints. Great coffee. Rooms were clean warm and spacious. Pool was lovely.
The staff in this hotel are the friendliest, and most professional I have ever come across.. The food and service was outstanding, and the room was only beautiful!! Will most definitely be back!!
Apartments were lovely, ideal for families. The hotel itself was nice but service was very slow. Loads to do and see in Wexford. Would definitely recommend
