A charming facility with attentive staff from the owner to the housekeepers. Everyone pitched in to make our stay memorable. Not having our own wheels it is conveniently located. On top of that, the price is right. Thank you, Martin and co-workers.

The room was great and had two separate sleeping areas. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Dinner and desert were fantastic at the Silken Thomas restaurant. The staff for the accommodation and restaurant were fantastic and made you feel welcome. The town was nice to walk around and the outlet mall was a short walk away. Parking was included and there were lots of spaces available.

We had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and the biggest shower we had in all of our stays in Ireland! We were surprised to see the rooms were above a large bar/restaurant but it was very peaceful upstairs.
The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral.

This has been our favorite place to stay since traveling. The room was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and the first good. Ishtar sleep we had in a long time. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and had many safety features for those having wheelchairs or mobility issues. Very convenient location and a great restaurant below.

Silken Thomas is a lovely place to stay for a short visit to Kildare. It is in a great location and near to Kildare Village, Japanese Gardens and The Curragh Racing Course. I would be happy to stay there again but on arrival I would check for a bath plug and no dangerous chairs.

We loved Kildare and would recommend, unfortunately it was rather wet so restricted our walking but still enjoyed. The pubs were fabulous, very friendly people, wished it was our last port of call in Ireland instead of the first as there is a huge designer outlet complex and no room to carry all the purchases I would have liked to indulge in 🤪

Lovely town, right next to Kildare outlet.
Lovely town, right next to Kildare outlet. There’s not a lot of bars and restaurants but it’s cosy and perfect for a quite night away. We stayed in the silken Thomas and ate and drank in their adjoining restaurant the food was lovely cocktails were ok. Would definitely stay again
Kildare House Hotel is just brilliant, loved every minute of our 2 night stay. Hotel is gorgeous and cosy, great facilities, everything on your doorstep. The Gallop's Restaurant amazing, we eat both nights of our stay there as so good, and breakfast same, all gorgeous.
We had the pleasure to meet the owner Kelly also, so lovely and helpful, and runs a fantastic business. We are definitely going back and cannot wait till next time.

Perfect location in the center of lovely Kildare just steps from other pubs and the ancient cathedral. Rooms were 1,2,3 above the pub. I was worried about noise from the pub but the rooms are well sound insulated and the windows, too. I also really enjoyed the pub where I had a delicious dinner and enjoyed excellent service from the Irish staff. The manager, Mick, and the woman who greeted us and checked us in, Ellen, were all super.
Food was excellent, when checking in the member of staff was super helpful and booked us a table for the evening. I'm glad we did because the restaurant was busy even on a week night.
Great location in center of town, easy to find and room was perfect.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful, they even gave me a VIP pass for Kildare village (10% off voucher)
Not far from Dublin, Food and drink was very fairly priced
Location is great. Lots of pubs around but Silken Thomas pub is the best one around, so no need to move. Kildare village a short 10 minutes walk.
The food in Chapter 16 was beautiful. Both for dinner and breakfast and the staff were all really friendly and professional. They made us feel really welcome. We would highly recommend staying and will definitely be doing so again ourselves.
Very cosy & comfortable room, really lovely room details and decoration. Coffee machine is a lovely touch and bed was very comfortable. We had our dinner in Silken Thomas, drinks in Cunninghams, and breakfast in Firecastle - all were brilliant options! Kildare village is a 5 minute drive away, and all of the restaurants above are within a few minutes walk of the hotel.
Property was beautiful, clean and had all the conveniences you would expect of a boutique hotel. Stunning view of St Bridget’s cathedral from our bedroom window. Our room was very cozy and the bed was so comfortable! Everyone who worked there was unbelievably helpful and accommodating. Isobel went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
Everything from check-in to checking out. Amazing staff, friendly and so helpful. Good food. A very comfortable bed. There is a great bar with lively music. Central to everything. Within walking distance to the wonderful shopping experience in Kildare Village. Worth a visit. I would definitely stay again.
Cosy, comfortable, cottage. One bedroom & bathroom upstairs and one bedroom & bathroom downstairs. Rural aspect and about 15 minutes drive from Kildare. Lovely, thoughtful owner. Look for the Fearmore sign on the property as google maps tends to take you to the house prior.
Conveniently located on a quiet lane way off the centre of Kildare. Brilliant comfortable living area and separate bedroom. Hosts very kindly provided lots of snacks and drinks. The entire property was spotlessly clean.
Location was prefect especially if you want to shop at kildare village, the accommodation was perfect very clean ,has everything you need for a perfect getaway. bed was an extra bonus guaranteed a great night sleep
Austin was incredibly friendly and was so nice to make us some delicious scones for breakfast. Very nice place with a convenient location as we were on our way from Dublin to the west of Ireland
Size of the room - one of the biggest you can come accros in Ireland (except 5* hotels)
Decor - vintage and tasteful
Excellent food in the pub downstairs
Location - in the heart of Kildare
