A truly lovely city without the chaos of Jaipur or Delhi. It felt like an oasis. The city centre is very exciting - and attractive. The sunset boat ride is a must, also the puppet show at the museum, and the folk dancing at the city palace.

I loved Udaipur, and Parvat made it all the more memorable. HUGE THANKS TO YOU!!! Note that the hotel is very tall and steep so you will have to climb stairs. The rooftop view is excellent! The room was huge, the bed supremely comfortable, the linen just right. The whole hotel is decorated with a fine eye. Let me tell you, in the heat of Rajasthan, the fact that there was a swimming pool meant that we could go around on foot exploring the local area and then we could cool off in the pool. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. It was a little oasis in the heart of Udaipur.
