I would avoid taking taxi next time as public transport is still perfect in chennai. Getting around in taxi and auto is faster in this city. The restaurants nearby are very local but they sell good food Still I got Idlies for Rs 10/-. No mosquitoes in the room.

If you are visiting Chennai and want to stay at a great location with utmost peacefulness, then Broadlands is the place for you.
