A very classy nice restaurant.
A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you.
I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of the local red wine. Somewhat surprising, it does not taste like anything I have already drunk, but I kinda liked it.
Then I took a marbled steak with homemade French fries and homemade ketchup (!). No word to say that it was awesome.
The service always with a smile and very patient with us.

My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and charm of this historic city.
Exploring the streets of Fort Kochi was like stepping back in time, with its colonial architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant culture. The Chinese fishing nets along the waterfront were a sight to behold, especially during sunset when the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The intricate artwork and historical artifacts inside were truly impressive, offering a glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage.
I also had the pleasure of indulging in some of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever tasted. Whether it was fresh fish curry at a local eatery or a traditional Kerala thali at a family-run restaurant, each meal was a culinary delight.
The warmth and hospitality of the people of Cochin further enhanced my experience. From the friendly smiles of shopkeepers to the helpful advice of locals, I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay.
Overall, my time in Cochin, Kerala was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty, culture, and flavors of southern India.

It is a great city - roads are narrow and congested - if you overlook that it is a good place to explore and the water metro is a must - unique to this city . Can get hot during the day during summers.
We loved the Fort Bungalow—it is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show, more so in fact! It is quiet and clean and calm, with practical comforts like great aircon and wifi. We will definitely return. It was the best place we stayed during our whole fortnight’s tour across South India. The host Joseph was incredibly kind, calm and helpful, and the hotel’s tuktuk driver Hussain was also wonderful and does great tours. We will be back to this beautiful and special place as soon as we can! Thank you, everybody at the Fort Bungalow!
The place have reasonably good Indian breakfast, salads.
For lunch and Dinner they have a good buffet too.
There is a small pool and gym on 6th floor and have a good city view.
The location of the hotel is ideal for a traveler who have business in Kakkanad, Kochi at infopark since it is only a walking distance.
The Superior room was quite big for a family and the scenery to the paddy land were so relaxing.
The cleanliness was good.
Many restaurants, shops, and supermarkets are nearby for eating and shopping.
Everything was the best. The property is nice, well maintained, but due to one person it makes it special. That is Sanitha. She will make you feel like long time friend. She is the heart and the soul of the hotel. Been many times in India, but its hard to say I met such a person trying to do so much effort for me. She arranged everything, she was making sure we are ok all the time, even when we left the property. If I ever again come back, it would be same, due to her.
Excellent reception, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Gave good recommendations for eating and visiting attractions. Room was large, cool in the heat. Pool was large.
Not at all far from all tourist attractions, easy stroll.
We are frequent visitors to Fort Cochin for work, and have stayed in many of the hotels, expensive and cheap, at different times. This is the best value for money and in the circumstances it did everything we wanted it to.
This beautiful boutique hotel is absolutely charming! The rooms were traditional but with a modern bathroom and good air conditioning. The communal areas offer plenty of places to sit and relax after a busy day exploring Cochin. Even the reception area is welcoming and serene. The bed was very comfortable (had an incredible sleep), the staff were very attentive and breakfast was delicious!
Worth paying a bit extra for a room with a balcony.
Last night I was never like to remember. My 6-year-old daughter and I felt very ashamed of Nambiars hotel. Rude, inhumane staff and owner. At about midnight, the booked room was dropped off without being given. Without even thinking that there was a six-year-old girl in the group. Please no one come here as a family..

the hosts (the entire family) were very nice and helpful. they did their best to help us with the best suggestions around fort cochin, renting a bike, getting bus tickets and more. they were also kind to allow us to take a shower in the afternoon of our departure (we checked out in the morning leaving our luggage in their home).
mr Dan is a very good and nice person. ask him anything and he will do his best. :)
thank you, Cherish house :)
The kind owner deserves 10 points only for himself. This place is very clean, for the first time I found toilet paper in the bathroom. There is excellent WiFi connection. The hotel is up to a hill not so far from Anachal. Munnar distance is around 23km but the village is well connected, you can easily take a bus to go if you have a small budget. Really happy to be here, so far the best welcoming in India!!!
The location is amazing, right in the centre of Fort Cochin so you can walk everywhere very easily. The hotel is beautiful, very well decorated with interesting art and decor pieces. It is very peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle just outside. The reception staff were incredibly helpful - I had a minor injury while I was there and they could not have been more helpful and kind in looking after me.
This is a superb hotel in a great location.
The ferry to Fort Cochi is very close, there is plenty to see and do around the area.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Rooms are just perfect.
I had been staying in cheaper hotels around India and decided to treat myself for my last few nights.
I'm so glad I chose to stay at Marine Inn
the host bernardo was probably one of my favourite hotel hosts ever. great humour, great energy and a real care for who he is hosting. he gave us all the best tips for our stay in Cochin and was always on hand when needed.
The rooms exceeded expectations, they are small rooms within a beautiful house, with a beautiful terrace.
The location is good, but the hotel is very rustic and very expensive compared to what you get nearby. I struggle to recommend this hotel berceuse of this. From a comfort perspective you could stay in a 4/5 star and Uber 5 to 10 mins to get to this area. Doing so would probably be best for most people.
I like the service in my stay of FabHotel Stratford Cochin. ....................................................................................................................

We booked for 1 night and extended 1 more night at hotel pearl palace. The food at the restaurant was really tasty.Hot water for shower was available. Location is in the city centre. Manager was very helpful and supported us in booking taxi with driver to Kovalam.
Excellent customer service and hospitality. Very modern hotel with superb facilities. The most memorable stay during my trip in India. Other Hyatt hotels have alot to learn from Grand Hyatt Cochin!
Overall, though short, the stay was comfortable. A new property, keenly built in the midst of nature, yet near airport. Seems to be a startup, the staff is really helpful. All the best to the team.
The best hotel I've ever lived in India. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Sockets were working.
I would recommend it to everyone who want to stay in the hotel with EU standards.
Probably the cleanest hotel in India. Everything is exactly as you see in the booking.com pics.
Thoroughly recommend and a 3-500 rupee ride from Fort Kochin.
