I booked smoking room without realising it and the room was extremely smelly. I requested the manager to change the room or clean the room once again by using room freshener. Manager changed the room immediately and i appreciate their quick action even though it was busy day.

I believe India's fourth largest populous city, so it's huge. Liked the Tuk Tuk rides in crazy city traffic. The museums were good plus amazing Hindu temples. The general vibe of a large Indian city. Felt always safe.

Must visit. People are warm. Culture is open ended.
Must visit. People are warm. Culture is open ended. Malls especially amba is my all time favourite. Had food from mainly vegetarian restaurants. I would avoid taking taxi next time as public transport is still perfect in chennai. Getting around in taxi and auto is faster in this city. You can take a walk even in the night as people are respectful towards fellow human beings.

Beautiful place and nice people, though it was said, they only talk in Tamil, I found it incorrect coming from North India, they helped, in trains, taxi, Ola etc. Nice food. Good beaches, very good traveling measures, nice places around Chennai too.
Only it was hot for me...

Chennai is a surprisingly modern city in that its facilities and modes of transport are smooth and seamless. The metro is very convenient. The residents of Chennai, especially at their professions, have a pleasant professionalism and competence. While Chennai is warm, it isn't uncomfortably so.

Chennai is a huge, noisy, dirty city with horrendous traffic and very few tourist attractions. We only stayed there for a night at each end of our trip as we flew into and out of Chennai airport. I wouldn't bother spending any more time there than is necessary for transit to be honest.

Shopping in Chennai is good, but due the on going metro phase 2 works the city is conjusted with hravy traffic. As the city itself is connected with the sea the climate particularly now is very hot and humid
An excellent option for people who are transiting from chennai airport which is just a stone throw distance from the hotel. Rooms are very good, Restaurant food is excellent all in all a very good value for money. We stayed there for just a night the employees Mr. Anand, Miss Gayatri and Miss Shalini and Their cook Mr. Raju are exceptionally helpfull in assisting me roam around chennai to see places. Name it and the'll help you. Very nice and friendly persons.
Must visit !!! 😀😀😀
Though it's in prime location, the hotel resides in a heritage building. It's gives a peaceful time. It has direct buses to central railway station. The chennai metro(Estate) shop is in walk-able distance. It's possible to have a early morning walk in city's busiest mount road in silence. The 32B series city buses to Vivekananda House is a terminal stop & marina beach starts there. If you have a evening walk in the main road, plenty of non-veg restaurants available to every budget.
I have stayed at dozens of hotels in Chennai 5*. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. I found the Ramada Plaza to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable by upgrading my room by night customer service in charge.I missed her name. I will definitely stay there when I come back! Thank you so much.
Staff behaviour is good and good cooperation.hotel is very nice.I miss my trip this time but next time I will stay at park Avenue hotel . breakfast buffet good I don't forget before staying in the hotel but traffic overall chennai.next time my business work in Chennai April so I recommend to everyone if comes Chennai need hotel choose only park Avenue hotel because I visit many State in India but this hotel is also my favourite in India
The hotel was clean and modern. Chennai was our first stop in India.
The breakfast buffet was superb, with many local options and western options as well. Restaurant staff were attentive and help with any food inquires we had.
The roof top bar/restaurant offers amazing views of the city and has fantastic food.
The front desk staff were helpful in guiding us to local banks, cell phone stores and shopping.
The thing we absolutely loved was the behaviour of the staff. Everyone was pleasant, kind and professional at the same time. I haven’t seen such nice staff members in hotels in a very long time. I think this one thing makes this hotel very special and if I go to Chennai again, I am definitely going to stay here. The receptionists in the evening and the staff at the buffet restaurant were especially nice.
I book rooms in Chennai for my clients. And the service at this hotel is amazing. Exceptional customer service, with a commitment to making my guests comfortable, the staff are so nice and helpful. Special mention to Ms. Pratibha. The rooms were well-maintained, beds were exceptionally comfortable. The rooms were well-furnished and equipped. Enjoyed the food at breakfast.
The owner, Shiva, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. He arranged taxis and rickshaw drivers for us, helped negotiate the cost of rides, and helped us plan our sight seeing. When we told him our flight out of Chennai was at 11pm, he offered for us to stay at the hotel until 6pm. He and his staff were kind and generous.
We booked this hotel thinking that being an IHG property, it has a reputation. However this has been most disappointing experience. It is better to stay in nearby TAJ property - just a 5-10 minute difference but atleast you'll get some professionalism from TAJ people. Holiday Inn Chennai is a huge waste of money and totally unprofessional.
Best hotel in Chennai. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The spacious room was tastefully decorated and equipped with modern conveniences. Buffet system is very good here, the staff’s attention to detail is commendable, ensuring a memorable and comfortable stay. I will be returning without a doubt.
A great Hotel in the centre of Chennai and is an oasis of calm. Sometimes the service was a little slow especially around the Pool area.
The breakfast was very good, with both local and western food available.
Perhaps not the same quality as the Taj in New Delhi, but the bedrooms are massive and its very good value
We stayed three nights at the hotel and enjoyed our stay a lot! The location close to the railway station is perfect, our room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend staying there while visiting Chennai!
Rooms were neat and clean. Located very near to Ecr beach and IMU university Rooms are little spacious not very much. Service was good.friendly staff with smiling face ..breakfast with coffee absolutely delicious.
The guest House is nearest to Shankara netharalaya and attractive place of Chennai is marina beach is only 5km far.
North Indian hotel is very near.
The area is Family-friendly area.
Hotel property is very close to airport and comfortable to stay.
Visit to industrial area or centre of Chennai is also approchable if plan the day considering traffic conditions.
