Historical places of great importance. Hawa mahal very poorly maintained. The ticket was priced at ₹52/- which seems rather off. Always problem of change. Old city called pink city, the colour is fading which does not look pink.

The Amber fort visit is worthy.
The Amber fort visit is worthy. The palace ia much better than any other palaces I visted in India and the elephant ride to the palace is truly memorable. The government souvenir shop located towards the exit of the palace has excellent local perfumes which cannot be easily found in Jaipur.

The attractions were very interesting. The food is excellent. However, the city centre is too dirty and chaotic. Also, it's very difficult for pedestrians to walk on the streets and cross the roads. The family and staff warmly welcomed us into their home and made sure our our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. the family area and open terrace offer a great way to relax with a cold drink after a long day taking in the sights and sounds of Jaipur. They also offer convenient taxi options to explore the city or shuttle to the airport.

The very best thing about this hotel though is the owner and it's staff, Gajendra (the owner) could not do enough for us - he organised travel, helped us when we arrived very early before check-in, and even looked after us when we got ill from food poisoning! The staff here made our visit to Jaipur so much better and easier :)
