A truly lovely city without the chaos of Jaipur or Delhi. It felt like an oasis. The city centre is very exciting - and attractive. The sunset boat ride is a must, also the puppet show at the museum, and the folk dancing at the city palace.

They have good carts outside the hotel to take you to the main gate of the old town or city palace. Overall the stay was fabulous! They have heritage walk in the hotel at 5 pm, which we really wanted to join but didn’t have the time too. And did I mention the view from the hotel and our room - incredible!!

The location is perfect, too - it's steps from the lake at Gangaur Ghat and an easy walk to many of Udaipur's attractions.
