The Staff was amiable and took care of the guests like family. On the day we arrived, it was Bihu festive and the staff arranged a campfire at the entrance and served us the festival sweets. The location is also great and has many shops and ATMs around.

Breakfast at Hotel Atithi was one of the highlights- lovely spread with lots of choices to suit most palates, including vegetarian Indian dishes like pav bhaji, chhole puri, upma, even a live masala dosa counter, alongside standard items like toast, cereal, eggs(done live as per your request, including omelettes), even chicken sausage. There were quite a few sweet items I did not try, but I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit juices and freshly cut watermelon and pineapple.
I had two other meals at the hotel's restaurant and then decided to host a family get-together there- the food was consistently good, and the waiter service was excellent. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, but I must specially mention Ranjita at the front desk-supremely efficient, helpful and effectively dealing with all queries.

The city has high air pollution. It is the gateway to all the prominent northeast locations. Not a city worth taking a long halt. Two nights are decent enough the leave for shillong or Nagaland. Take a tour to Brahmaputra river front.

A very lively and bustling city.
A very lively and bustling city. Not too crowded like other Indian cities, with a population of around 1.50 million. Friendly people, good mobility options, some very picturesque locations within a range of 40 kms from the city. And, did not find too many beggars on the streets. Sensible driving . Most FoBs have escalator facilities motivating pedestrians to use the foot over bridges. Something other bigger cities need to emulate.
Drove around 500 kms in Assam. Was amazed to find most towns and villages garbage free.

Guwahati is a bit crowded city located in north east India.
Guwahati is a bit crowded city located in north east India. The main town of north east India. The connection with rest of India is preety good. An international airport (LGBI Airport), Two railway stations (Guwahati and Kamakhya) and a Bus Terminus. Construction works are preety slow. Travelling through the cuty might be bit time consuming becouse of slow buses. But in recent times, this has improved a lot. For rest if India, Guwahati might appear to be bit slow but the hospitality and honesty of local people can win hearts of many people. So do visit Guwahati if possible.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Treebo Tryst D' Agneedeep, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet conveniently close to major attractions. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout my stay.
Excellent host and an awesome experience with Queens residency staff and team. So polite and energetic team ready to answer any questions and services. Food was excellent with homely taste. I have stayed in multiple hotels in Guwahati but Queens residency was the most memorable in terms of pricing, food. I really did not wanted to checkout due to the homely feeling there. Highly recommended to family and solo travellers. Most importantly it's located in a good location and away from pollution and all. Keep up the excellent work.
Mr. Saikia, the manager, was incredibly friendly and shared valuable insights about the hidden gems of the city. The rooms were impeccably clean, and he ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making this the best stay I've ever had in Guwahati. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience!
Very nice hotel, unique in the area with very good standards on hospitality and service. Staff was well trained, professional and kind and with immediate response&attendance to our requests during our stay and for transportation. Also appreciated that they were using smoke outdoors to get rid of the mosquitoes.
Staff they don't no about hospitality. They are always do wrong calculated about the tarriff and accounts. Tv remote only one for all over the hotel. Breakfast they are provide worthless because of it's including with our tarriff. When I asked for update the breakfast they simply denied 😙
I have stayed in this hotel before for couple of times to catch early morning flight from Guwahati, then I was allotted rooms in the first floor, this time I was alotted a room in the second floor. This room seemed new and in a better condition than rooms at the first floor.
Great location. We really loved the character of the hotel. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy.
The place is very close to the airport. If you are traveling light, you can walk. The rooms are clean and nice. The restaurant serves good food. We have stayed here several times, and it is our 'go-to' place when traveling through Guwahati.
