Stayed there for one days ... My experience is absolutely amazing ... Grateful to mention about mesmerizing view of the lush green valley from the roof of the upper room ... Washrooms are small in size but neat and clean with available water and geyser ... Rooms are clean and location is also good (7 mins walk from the main road) ... Budget friendly stay

Had an amazing stay at this mansion! The property is absolutely insane — beautiful, well-maintained, and full of great vibes. The staff was super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks to Pawan, who was helpful all the time and made sure we were comfortable. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was just perfect. Would definitely love to visit again!

This place was perfect for my needs. Great location! They had hot water, which most hotels failed to provide. Plus the home cooked meals were great. The owner responded quickly to every request I had. I highly recommend!

Visited Cherrapunji in early June , rain season had started...

Visited Cherrapunji in early June , rain season had started and water falls were active. Jaw opening mountain plains, lush green, mesmerizing water falls, generally clean surroundings I rate food as average If possible, plan travel in early August when water falls are still at peak and good visibility ( no much fog/mist). But water falls through fog/mist are mystic Keep cash as many areas no network coverage and Jio network is best at Cherrapunji We stayed at Cozyo Stays premium boutique ( 7000 Rs/ room ), which has excellent location on a canyon , strongly recommend for breath taking view of valley ( they called 100 waters falls , only during June-August )

A must visit and has great locations to explore.

A must visit and has great locations to explore. One must have proper details on what all to do and visit and a logical flow of the distances to cover. There are great places to eat but stay is a problem and online reviews are unreliable and misleading. Average and below average rooms without any facilities and meals are steeply priced. Average cost is 3000-3500 ₹ for a basic 4 walls that too infested with cockroaches.

The best time to visit Cherrapunji or Meghalaya in general...

The best time to visit Cherrapunji or Meghalaya in general is post the monsoon season when it is green and fresh all over. One gets to see the waterfalls. In January everything is dry, cool and crisp. One hardly gets to see the waterfalls. Plus at our age we couldnot trek much to see the existing waterfalls which had water. Meghalaya in general very clean and very little stray dogs.

Be careful about the local travel agency like M/s Travenjo, through whom I booked my trip, a huge mistake. They never provide best accommodation against the value for money. They are more greedy about making profit for themselves. and not quality service to the customer..

Trek to single decker and double decker root bridge was...

Trek to single decker and double decker root bridge was awesome. Arwah caves provided us with an experience of limestone caves However, most of the water falls in an around cheerapunji are running on their final breaths if you visit during february and I do not recommend you do that

Nice laid back place. no activity after 5 pm .

Nice laid back place. no activity after 5 pm . One can opt this as a central place to travel to other places around. one can opt for long walk or Run also. overall the place is relax and rejuvinating destination.
