This hotel is an excellent location very close to the beach. The staff was excellent. They must have a full time gardener because the grounds are covered in plants. There is excellent private parking with dedicated stalls.

Location was good: BnB is right next to the train station. But you could hear loud noises from street traffic and trains, as well as people chatting in the bar downstairs. Bring earplugs if you want a good night’s sleep.
Bathroom was modern, though without a hairdryer.

The accommodations were beautiful abdvthe host very attentive. The town is fairly chaotic with lots of folks arriving by train. You need a car to find a quiet beach. The town comes alive at 9pm. Restaurants generally opening at 8pm for evening meals. There aren't alot of choices if you miss the midday lunch window.

ancient town up the hill, more modern town at the bottom, there is a bus that runs up and down, you need to phone for it. small charge. 2.50 euros a trip. Its a really charming town at the top, very atmospheric and at the bottom the town is a working town, I liked it and the beach is very close just beyond the station. Lovely people in this town, its small but friendly. Lots of restaurants in the upper town, I had a wonderful pizza and a good restaurant in the lower town too, just one I think So an interesting town with a long long beach on a fast train line to Naples and Rome,

European visitors must be made aware that life comes to stop from 1pm -3 30 pm during the week and everything closes on Saturdays at lunchtime until Monday! Not a criticism - just needs to be put out there! Street market on Sundays mind blowing. Old city beautiful. People lovely.
I liked everything about this place. The view from the terrace was magic. I was able to enjoy all the beauty of Paola: the small town and the sea. During the night the temperature was fresh and this made my stay even better. The house was extremely cleaned, the owner really cares about it, and she was also really cool with me, she picked me up at the train station and she adviced me some nice place to go for eating. Super recommended!
As I didnt have my own transport, I took advantage of Valeria´s offer of coming to pick me up and take me back to the train station. The hotel was enchanting and my room was spacious, spotless , beautifully decorated and I had a wonderful sea view.
The breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious. Valeria was a lovely kind host and her staff were polite and helpful.
Beautiful villa, with the warmest welcome from Emilia. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect. We'd happily return next time we're in Paola. The beds were the most comfortable we've found in all of Italy!
