The apartment was very clean even though it was older. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a large private parking space.

Actually we have found a hidden gem - close to many beautiful attractions, but far away to get disconnected from busy life. No wonder, until the tunnels around the Garda Lake were built early in the 20th century, this land - once on the border of Italy and Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy was kind of isolated from the rest of the country (due to 100 meters high cliff on the lake and high hills on the other side). What do you find here? Limone (10 min drive): with nice bars, beach-side coffee houses and restaurants, good public beach, local lemon plantation (ingredient of limoncello drink), good boat connection to other cities - convenient/affordable parking lots. Walk/bike/jog on the brand new 3 km road along/above the lake next to cliffs. Visit Malcesine, across the lake (20 min boat drive) - with a small castle from fairy tales, take the cable car to Monte Baldeno (1600m) - beautiful views or opportunity to hike (another 400m) or paraglide :-). Riva (20 min drive) - good starting point to take a jump into the crystal clear waters of Lago di Tenno (10 km from Riva), the medieval village (Ville Del Monte) or the colorful caves of the waterfall in Varone or climb in the Arco area. Discover the tiny villages of Tignale (waterfalls), Campione (watersports), Pieve (town), MOntecastello (monastery). If you like outdoor activities, good climate (some winds, not always burning sunshine), good people and want to have privacy - this is you area, not the southern towns (also nice like Gargnano, Salo or Sirmione). Mind to take boats for travel, curvy narrow roads may take more time of your travel than you think. Plenty of good restaurants - try the mindblowing ice cream with a fantastic view at Gelateria Qciari (Vesio) or some good pasta/cakes at cozy Da Nando. We stayed at Borgo Cantagallo (Voltine) - fantastic option, would never regret (if you are there do not forgot to climb Monte Bestone and glare at the lake or discover some WWI tunnel/trenches).

Some might go there only for the lake experience but inland, up in the mountains are also great with spectacular nature, mountain paths and cycling opportunities. Each village has its own charm and once you have found the local butcher, baker, restaurants you will easily slip into holiday mode and enjoy the local ways.
Take it easy on the roads or rent a vespa to get around those twisties!

Beautiful views, however way to and from Tremosine are difficult roads, narrow, and slow drive.
Restaurants in this place are pretty basic. Even the ones with best grades.
Small place, no activities in Tremosine. You need to get down to Garda Lake area (Riva Del Garda etc.)

The "Brasa canyon" is unbelievable.
The "Brasa canyon" is unbelievable. You have to be a good driver to enjoy the ride. But I wouldn't drive there in high season, to many people probably.
The best food ever is the "La Rocchetta". Fresh, homemade Pasta, in a quiet Atmosphere. The Restaurant " Brasa" was also good, but to many people, to hektic because of the area.

The hotel was beautiful, the arquitecture, the interior design, really really beautiful. The staff was very kind and friendly and made us feel at home. The cleaning lady did an amazing job with the rooms, they were impecable. I am sensitive to smells and the place smelled great. Fresh flowers at the entrance and the rooms smelled like clean laundry, a pleasure to enter our room every time. Breakfast was delicious, and the view amazing. Also the mini spa was enjoyable too.
Amazing views from the two balconies overlooking lake Garda. Close to the super cozy town of Pieve. And let’s be honest, using Strada della Forra each day to get home is kind of amazing as well.
And the family owners are great - bringing small gifts (chocolate/cookies/etc)ever so often by the door and stopping by to see that everything is good.
The view was incredible, it had a private balcony with two lounge chairs and a small table with two chairs. The entire balcony was covered and afforded such an amazing 180 degree view of Lake Garda. Additionally, the room was spacious and the staff was delightfully hospitable. We stayed in the diamond suite and definitely would again.
The location is breathtaking and the hotel is an absolute gem. It‘s one of those rare finds where every detail is thought through - from the room themes to an absolute feast of a breakfast. It‘s a place to recharge body and soul and to feel at home.
The staff is amazing and you can feel how much love is being put in every detail.
Quite large hotel with 2 pools and offer breathtaking view. Hotel is located in small quiet village above the “strada della forra” which is in the summer months between 10 am and 7 pm only one-way uphill. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very variable and tasty. Near the hotel there is nice playground.
Perfecto!
The perfect location to hide away from the Lake Garda buzz, but still enjoy the amazing view from apartments and territory. Delicious breakfast and home produced food.
Probably the best place to view the sunset over Lake Garda and the mountain peaks.
The hotel looks as if it was recently upgraded. Our room looked and felt brand new! The pool and sunbathing areas were wonderful and their wellness centre (Turkish bath, wet and dry saunas, and hot tub) were amazing!
I could not ask for more. The view from the room was possibly the best in Lake Garda, the room was spacious and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and kind.
Stunning views of Lake Garda! The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and we also enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the terrace. Would definitely enjoy coming back!
The location is exceptional and the view from each room and the terrace is breathtaking. Hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. we would love to come back :)
This is how a hotel should look like, clean, owners at the place that you can chat to for hours, rich breakfast and good coffee. Views were incredible.
