A rather smallish town by a beautiful and clean/warm enough...
A rather smallish town by a beautiful and clean/warm enough for swimming Lake Lugano. City center is small but nice, typical old Italian village atmosphere, not much to see in the town itself but very relaxing environment. A small amusement park, Luna Park, is open there June-July, nice for small kids and reasonably priced. Great supermarket (Carrefour), open from 6 AM-midnight every day is near the town centre. The large camping sites in the area are great for meeting other people for all over Europe, mostly families and older people. Lots of nearby towns and cities, reachable by car but beware of crazy mountain roads with hairpins and narrow village streets, that can be very slow to drive in places (but, of course very scenic and beautiful!).

The apartment was perfect and had its own underground parking space. The pool was really nice and we were able to use the owners sunbeds and umbrella - the view from here is spectacular. There was a garden area for all guests with a small swimming pool looking out towards the lake and an outdoor shower and sun bathing area. Very beautiful. I recommend checking with the property directly about the quality of beds.

Everything we needed was present. Chalet is a few meters from the lake so its convenient to carry gear to the lake. Lake is clean and accessible. Shops inside the village are decent.
