My first visit to Cattolica was in the mid 80s and it has remained a pleasant, safe family resort with a fabulous well maintained beach. We tend to go in June so the beach is not at full throttle - I know in high season it gets very crowded but I can only speak as I find. The promenade has been upgraded since we were last here which was before the pandemic. It used to be mostly decking but is now paved and is much cleaner. There are lots of good restaurants - fresh fish is particularly excellent as it's probably been caught a matter of hours before you eat it! Cattolica still seems to have a vibrant harbour.Johnson - 10Scored 10

The beach is excellent and it's an easy walk around the centre and nearby towns. Nice lively atmosphere at night with plenty of bars and restaurants. Great access by train and buses up and down the Rimini coast plus the option to hire electric bikes and scooter via an app to pick up all around the resort.

Did not get to see the town as beach and boat trips took precedent. Be careful if renting a vehicle as service is limited and expensive and only available from Rimini. you would be better off renting direct from Bologna AirportROYUnited Kingdom

The pool is just great as it is and as soon as you leave the pool bed they are sanitizing it, ready for use for someone else. Breakfast is okay, not our style but in Italy it's normal that 95% of the breakfast is sweet. Very close to the seashore. Lot's of restaurants nearby, supermarket is two corners away. Air conditioning worked very well, and Wifi was also working well.

The staff : Wilkins Duevers and Federica were so helpful through out the interactions - Wilkins surprised us by being at the station to pick us. Federica helped with locations to shop, booking taxi for us. Both were always quick in response to any of our requests.
