First the location, not too far from the highway and not too close so there was almost no noise while being so convenient for a road trip traveller. The room was clean and comfortable. It was one of a few hotel I stayed in Italy that had an AC which was willing to provide heating in June. The best value for money so far. Highly recommend if you’re on a road trip and want a place to stay on the road.

The breakfast was phenomenal. The hosts are really sweet and helpful. The pool was beautiful. The room was really nice.

I was in town for a wedding and needed to be close to my friends in Ponte San Giovanni for a few nights. The hotel was exceptionally clean and updated. The fitness facilities were awesome. The breakfast was top notch and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Owner was amazing. My son stayed there a night before a flight. He had to leave by 6:30am to get to the airport and taxis don’t start running until 8am. The owner drove him to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight . Doesn’t get any better than that.

The hotel is very cozy, homey, very nice and christian environment, it is very calm and peaceful. The two owners, they are seniors, are the sweetest best hosts we've had in all of our trip, the lady let us have breakfast and our after the breakfast time has ended, and our friend who couldn't go downstairs with us, she took out a tray and a couple of plates and she put a breakfast together for him, herself and told us to take it to him upstairs. The room had an amazing little balcony with the most beautiful views of houses in Assisi. The room was very spacious, the bathroom very amazing. An overall better stay than in a 4-star hotel we stayed in earlier in our trip.

We very much like it, very good location, clean and warm, free parking, you feel very welcome by the manager and staff, very helpful and they guide you through every step of the journey, on top of that they are very friendly people who does it all with passion!

My recent stay at Lo spedalicchio a beautiful castle-turned-hotel, was nothing short of magical. Susanne was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From her genuine beautiful smile to her extensive knowledge of the hotel’s history, she made me feel like a treasured guest from the moment I arrived. The castle itself is a masterpiece, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was also exceptional, with a menu that highlights the finest local ingredients.breakfast was excellent In summary, my stay at Lo spedalicchio was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by Susanne’s outstanding service. If you’re looking for a unique and luxurious getaway, this castle hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The hotel was excellent and the service as well. The room was clean and well heated. Free cable as well. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Amazing stay, the staff made you feel at home. They were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding, with huge cappuccinos and a bunch of homemade options. The value was incredible, free parking, huge balcony, quiet, and just far enough away from the center.

Very clean and comfortable family room , convenient/next to the hotel/ outside parking for free, location is excellent for visiting all of the historical sights. Closed to various supermarkets. Special thanks to Luca and Tamara for awesome hospitality. We will definitely come back.
