The hotel is really cozy placed in a park-like setting. In the morning we saw several peaceful wild boars walking quietly by the river below the hotel. It was a fun experience. Before we left in the morning we were given a bottle of Giorgi Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese wine by the host. A super fresh locally produced white wine One surprise was that the hosts were super good at speaking English. We would like to get there again if we get on these edges.

Of course the boheme-Italian style of the hotel is great, and seeing the castle on the mountain greeting you as you wake up is also great. But by far the most impressive and memorable thing of our stay was the warmth, kindness and soul of the host. And before we forget, the lunch was also absolutey amazing. 10/10 highly recommend!VolkerGermany

The pool area is very nice and you can order drinks for the sunbeds and have dinner at night in the pizza restaurant. The hotel and rooms are from a different time, but it is all very charming. Staff were helpful. Brilliant location of hotel for town centre and eating places.
