A stunning location with a great outdoor space. The staff went above and beyond in almost every aspect. An extremely enjoyable stay. FYI - The free car park just outside the city walls is a very short walk from the hotel, used it the entire stay without issue.

We were so happy with our choice of hotel in San Quirico D’Orcia. We stayed in room 412.
The room was spotless. The bathroom had a huge walk in shower. Water pressure was excellent. The bedroom itself was large with plenty of storage. The bed was really comfortable with a memory foam mattress.
Sitting on the private terrace with a glass of local wine looking out over the magnificent Tuscan countryside was a fitting end to our holiday and one we will never forget.

The room was comfortable and quiet and it was right on the Via Francigena. The apartment (which was shared by another couple) was modern and definitely clean. There was coffee available in the apartment.

Lovely quaint town and not too touristy.
Lovely quaint town and not too touristy. A good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to Pienza and Montepulciano. Town has a small park that is nice to walk around. There are also free parking lots which makes parking very easy.

This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there.
This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there. It’s a charming small town in a gorgeous setting. Each June, they celebrate the Festival of Barbarossa and dramatize historic events from the 12th century. The four quarters of the town each have their own flags, songs, competition teams, etc. and the spirits are high!! Great fun!

The historic city of San Quirico d'Orcia is one of several beautiful Tuscan cities located around the Valle d'Orcia.
It has a very historic centre.
As an old city there are many modern amenities for tourism: restaurants, historical buildings, museums, churches, bars, and shops.
A very charming place to base yourself in Tuscany for the Valle d'Orcia: very relaxing and peaceful.

Elisa is a super host. Breakfast was great!
Elisa is a super host. Breakfast was great! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, hot croissants, eggs, cheeses, prosciutto, much more than a continental breakfast!
The rooms are wonderful! Bed, shower, bedding!
She also cooked us dinner one night and it was the best dinner in the region.
We will be back!

The hosts, who rent out part of their house as this hotel, are affable and helpful. There is no reception desk. The location in San Quirico d'Orcia is wonderful, both because it is walkable to the old town, and because it is walkable to some lovely trails that connect San Quirico to Bagno Vignoni. The breakfast is pretty good, and includes some fruit, hard-boiled eggs ,and a pastry or two. A coffee machine in the breakfast area produces acceptable cappucinos and other coffees. The hosts explain the procedure clearly upon arrival.
The property is amazing. It is 13th century castle that was renovated and adjusted to a hotel. And it is lovely. The whole interior is beautiful, rooms comfortable and gorgeous, especially the bathroom. The place is amazing to sit back, relax, enjoy the views or one of the many available perks - spa, massage, the pool, dinner, bar, … It’s an amazing place for couples. The food was really delicious, and staff friendly and kind. We truly enjoyed the stay, wish we planned a couple of days more to spare here.
Everything!
The location is perfect, seconds from the restaurants and bars but still peaceful. Gorgeous views from the windows.
The apartment is beautiful, clean, smells amazing. It is well equipped with everything you could need and is light and airy.
It was also nice to actually be met by the host rather than using a keystore. Gemma was able to give us some great advice as to places to visit.
Next time we are in Italy we will certainly return to Dimora del Poggio.
Perfect location in the historic center. A short walk up some flights of stairs from free parking. I was able to drop my parents near the ZTL entrance and then go and park. Several very nice restaurants nearby. This house was the highlight of our visit in Italy. The hosts were quick to suggest a wine tasting and helped arrange the details. The private courtyard was a great bonus. The window screens did a great job keeping insects out with the windows open.
My family & I traveled to Italy & stayed at this quaint, beautiful town this past summer. The owners of this apartment were lovely. They met us at our car upon arrival & even assisted in bringing in our luggage. We enjoyed an amazing meal at a local restaurant which the owners recommended. Overall, we had a great time! The place was perfect for our 1 night stay in town.
It was one of the best places I stayed in Italy! MariaGiovanna went to great lengths to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! She responded to my messages almost instantly. Thank you! Will recommend your place to anyone visiting Val d'Orcia and will personally return. Baci, Milena
We added this to our itinerary so that we had some downtime and relaxation. This hotel hit the bill. AMAZING VIEWS! Wonderful Pool, we did have a car to drive around in the countryside. Many nearby restaurant choices including ancient walled city.
Nice balcony, extremely clean room, nicely organized furniture. Staff was very helpful for the hotel's parking. Some drink was provided for free at the lobby (though I'd like more variety for tea)
Great view of country site. Good staffs
Good breakfast, good swimming pool, beautiful view of the valley of Italy country site.
One of the best hotel in country site of Italy.
Property is GORGEOUS, location is AMAZING, Claudia was incredibly warm and helpful! A true gem of an experience! A highlight of our Italy trip. HIGHLY recommend! Just lovely!
This hotel is amazing and a must if you’re visiting Tuscany! The staff are great and so helpful, the rooms are beautiful and the restaurant is superb!!
