Our stay at Wadi Rum Star Wars Camp overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and hospitable, the food was amazing and our room was spacious. The jeep safari, camel ride and stargazing that they offer were so nice. They made sure to make us feel at home, and we truly regret not having stayed longer than 2 nights.

I would recommend relying on asking the camp staff questions about what to do, or information about history, culture, food and geography in Wadi Rum. They know best about everything and are really trustworthy people. Be friendly with the other campers, it is amazing to see who all visits Wadi Rum. I would say to trust the locals there, and you will have an amazing time. Definitely take your time looking at the stars.

Hiking and taking a Jeep Tour around Wadi Rum are amazing...
Hiking and taking a Jeep Tour around Wadi Rum are amazing experiences. My favorite part is the different colors of the sand and the bridge. However, as there's no fixed trail for the jeep, the sands are full of wheel marks, which kind of ruin the whole view of the desert. Overall, it is so beautiful; it feels like being on another planet.

For those who like silence, privacy and are happy to let go off their screentime this place is just right. If you decide to take your car, an SUV would be ideal on the sandy/rocky surface. There are some do-able hikes even with kids. The place looks like a totally different planet with unique rock formations and red sand till as far as you can see. Star gazing is magical as there isnt much light around.....!

Everyone tries to get out a hell of a business of the guided tours, the kids and youngsters treat animals (especially dogs) very bad, it gave an impression, that you need to know yourself how long you can make the best out of it.
Hicham is a super host. He made our journey in Jordan. Really simple, humble, sympathic, really interesting man. The food is excellent and the camp well located once in Wadi Rum. Hicham took care of everything for us. He arranged a jeep for a desert tour during 4h and it was amazing. After a really nice diner, he brought us in the desert in order to look after the stars in the dark with a cup of tea. We exchanged a lot during this moment. We will never forget him and we will recommend Oryx camp to anyone wanting a real experience in Wadi Rum.
Great time in Wadi Rum! I corresponded with Emad prior to our stay. When we showed up, Emad's brother Raad picked us up and was very accommodating when we arrived. We went on a private Jeep Tour in the evening, watching the sunset over the desert. We had a great night spending time around the fire with the fellow guests, eating a Bedouin dinner, and watching the stars. We woke up, had breakfast, and went on a private camel tour. I highly recommend this camp and the family that runs it! Raad was great! Yalla Yalla!!!
We spent one day and one night in Wadi Rum and we have planned everything through this camp: accommodation, food and the trip through the desert and we were very pleased with their services. The camp provides common areas to serve the meals, tea and enjoy the fireplace. The food was very good; we appreciate that we served local food cooked in the sand - traditional all the way ☺️. The room was spacious with an incredible view towards desert. The host was very friendly, easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay!
This was our best experience in Jordan. The hosts are absolute legends that allow you to experience parts of the Bedouin life. Probably the best part of your stay here is sitting around the camp after sunset. The hosts provide food and shisha, tell stories and jokes, perform traditional music and point out stars and puddles you've never seen before. Don't miss the jeep tour that lets you see a good part of the Wadi Rum desert.
The facilities at the camp are clean.
We will be back from friends as soon as possible
Obeid and his sons are fantastic! The camp had a main dining/gathering room, a cave room (with 4 poster bed) and comfortable tent rooms with en suite bathrooms. We would recommend their camp to anyone staying in Wadi Rum. They were perfect hosts - arranging great experiences (jeep safari, camel ride), serving an amazing dinner (Zarb) & helping us navigate the border in Eilat, and hire a van to drive us to Wadi Rum, Petra and the border. They were so wonderful and we had a great experience in Jordan thanks to them!
Very clean and safe place. It’s beautiful camp in middle of the desert.
Staff are very friendly and they served us very well.
We opted for 4 hours Tour till sunset and we really enjoyed. The guide took some good pictures of us at tourist spot.
Mahdi (The Host) is an amazing person. He is very polite, hospitable, kind and helpful person. He speaks fluent English and Arabic.
I will definitely recommend to book Mahdi’s place for stay and for Tour!
FYI, they serve BEST RED TEA in Jordan!
Wadi Rum Royal Camp is the best place you can go in Jordan! Rashid and his brothers really take care about you from the beginning to the end! We really enjoyed sharing great meals around the fireplace during the night, play cards, smoke Mohammed and get to know each other a bit better. You truly feel at home. And in a beautiful desert like Wadi Rum where every part is gorgeous that you can visit thanks to their organised jeep tours, this is the best experience you can live!
This experience at Desert Magic Camp was worth it the whole holiday in Jordan. For me and my group of friends was the best part of our holiday in Jordan. If we would know in advance we would spend more than a night in this incredible place. The location is unique, the staff is professional, kind and available for any request. The tents are spacious and clean and well decorated. The jeep tour was wonderful. We highly recommend this place for your holiday in Wadi Rum.
The best experience in Wadi Rum.
We had the pleasure of Abdullah Ali “ The true King of the Desert” for our half day tour and the best night in the camp Wadi Rum. We can honestly say that he has been the highlight of our trip to Jordan and one we will never forget. He is a wonderful person who aims to please and welcome his guests at every opportunity. Do not hesitate in booking a tour with this wonderful man you will thank yourselves later!
Not only our experience was incredible, but the day we were leaving Jordan we had an issue with our rental car and Raad helped us get a taxi to airport which made the overall feel exceptional.
Special thanks to Mohamed that took us to beautiful places in the desert.
Special thanks to Tahal that cooked amazing dinners.
We enjoyed very much each night next to fireplace, shisha, good company and stars.
We loved the dune next to camp.
If you’re planning on visiting Wadi Rum, I strongly recommend staying at this camp. People who run this camp will make your experience unforgettable. They will gladly tell you about bedouin life, drive you around the desert on jeep or camels and prepare delicious tea and traditional bedouin dinner. Thanks to their kindness and hospitality you will feel like with your family. This was one of our best experiencefrom entire Jordan.
Rum legnend Camp was the highlight of our trip to Jordan. the staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.the room was clean and the bathroom super clean the food was delicious and prepared on site. I thoroughly enjoyed the desert Safari ride and would go again if time had allowed. I would recommend the camp to anyone staying in Wadi Rum.
A beautiful view of the desert and scenery of Wadi Rum. The room was rather luxuriously decorated and we took the room with the bathroom which was very clean and hot water with a nice shower too! The food was good and Zarb—-smoked chicken, vegetables and rice was delicious. A beautiful campfire and a beautiful night to stargaze.
An experience you won't forget! The hospitality at Wadi Rum Trails Camp was exceptional when I went there with my family. We enjoyed the tasty meal, the cozy traditional tents, and the Wadi Rum trip, which showed us the splendor of the desert. This is the place to go if you want an authentic experience with friendly hosts!
Stay on camp very well organized, good contact with the owners via Whatsapp. The hosts very helpful, extremely friendly. Delicious food, both lunch prepared in the desert and evening "zarb" dinners. We spent One day in the desert, climbed the highest peak in Jordan and had a full-day jeep tour. I recommend ❤️
Wadi Rum is a must-visit location for any traveler in Jordan. An exceptionally gracious and hospital band of brothers run this remote desert outpost. Sand and Stone is as close to an authentic Bedouin camping experience as one can get, an antidote to the more consumerist lux-bubble glamping.
Wadi rum desert is a MUST visit if you come to Jordan. Sunset magic camp beat our expectations with a family atmosphere, good food, good laughs... and a jeep ride that seemed to be out of this world! AMAZING.
8 hour jeep tour is MANDATORY. Do not hesitate living such a nice experience.
Wadi Rum is a must visit for visitors of Jordan. One of the most impressive and beautiful places on earth amidst the desert. wadi rum safari camp is a super comfortable tent-compound accommodation where each tent is a hotel like room with real luxurious beds! The view is breathtaking..
The staff was very nice and friendly, we had some fun night dancing with them at the camp! The food was amazing, good quality and quantity. I recommend you to go there!! We also had an amazing jeep tour around Wadi Rum desert!!
The perfect getaway in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert, away from the noise and lights. The rooms are tidy and clean, and the camp owner and staff are very helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
