We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish.
It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh.
We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here!
The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended.
The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort!
If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

It was one of the best and peaceful hotels we’ve been in Cambodia. You can actually feel the hospitality and care of the staffs especially from Nicholas and Anna. The service, the food, and the cleanliness is quite exceptional. One of the cleanest hotels in Koh Rong.

Our stay at this beach hotel was pure bliss. The beachfront room had stunning views of the white sand beach, and the food was a delicious mix of Khmer and fusion flavors - still thinking about the coconut dory and the fried kampot pepper fish. The Khmer-themed cocktails are unforgettable too. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to accomodate our specific needs. The highlight of our stay was the bioluminescent plankton night boat tour, don't miss it. Definitely will come back.

Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere.
Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere. No much nightlife but perfect to relax and enjoy the beach. Renting a scooter is highly recommended to get the most of the island and explore different places and beaches at your own pace.
We went to Lonely Beach, Coconut Beach and Long Beach and really lovely the 3 of them. We stayed in the fishing village in the North-East, really authentic.

The most interesting and genuine fishing village on the island, Preksway, is well worth a wander around. Some nice beaches (e.g. Pagoda Beach) but unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed by the visual side of the island. Large areas have been flattened out to build hotels and casinos on for the Chinese tourists, so not very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately much plastic and other trash lying around build-up areas.

Beautiful island with stunning beaches white sand and clear waters. You had to use the boats to get around as the road infrastructure is not great ! The resort's are a bit shabby, but to be expected, as this is a third world country in many ways. The people are very friendly, and, by and large, the bars and restaurants are reasonable and inexpensive.

golden beach resort was so beautiful. it has everything that a high end resort has but with an informal friendly atmosphere too. the resort is new so the room, pool etc have that lovely new feel. the bungalows are huge! the staff were fantastic and we were sad to leave after a week. the food was excellent and good value. Clodagh and Matti along with Lorn work hard to make every guest feel welcome and special but in a lovely relaxed way. if we come back to Koh Rong we would 100% stay here again!
Amazing location on Long Set beach - easily one one of the best beaches on the island (if not the best) and a great place to relax. Very picturesque. We had a lovely cabin with a beach view.
Close to the pier and Pub Street restaurants. Direct access on the ferry from Sihanoukville. Staff were fantastic.
Especially loved that they had a super friendly and sweet resort dog named Lucky! He made my whole holiday - they should advertise him!
the location is gorgeous. probably the best beach on the island . however the hotel itself is pretty shabby. if you’re afraid of insects it’s probably not a good choice. I had to kill a couple of big spiders😃. The hotel owner is a very nice guy. he let me ride his scooter bike for free. so to sum it up it’s a wonderful location with absolutely stunning views, sunsets and sunrises but just beware of those insects😄
- Perfect location! You’re very close to the main road for all the restaurants (2min walk), but it’s nice and quiet in the jungle.
- Best value for money on Koh Rong Island.
- Manager is very friendly and speaks English well.
- Huge private terrace with 2 hammocks (very clean and new)!
- Beautiful garden. Bungalows spread out so you don’t notice your neighbours.
Beach front location was lovely. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Food was great. Very relaxed and simple vibes. The hotel made all my travel arranggements to and from Koh Rong and everything went smoothly (thanks to Santran for all his help with this). A perfect place to end our visit to Cambodia. We really liked it.
Everything was incredible, the location is perfect and away from all the noise but still walking distance to other places. Best beach on the island. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We hardly left the resort as it was too nice to leave! Definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The activity guide (Sinoun) and the yoga teacher were impressively kind.
The villas are perfect in every detail and the food is great.
To go we did not use the hotel boat service. It was a big mistake. The way back with the resort boat was much more enjoyable
probably the best nights sleep I have had in cambodia! The resort is beautiful and maintained to an exceptional standard, the staff cannot do enough to ensure you are being catered for, even walking down to the beach to make sure we had drinks. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was heavenly.
Everything, it was my best holiday stay ever. Because of covid there was literally no one on the first day so we had the whole hotel by ourselves and the staff were very very friendly and welcoming! I still can't believe the amount of luxury we had with the price we paid.. amazing..
It’s the best Cambodian beach area. Turquoise water white sand perfect spot for relax and family time. Beach bbq was amazing with great choice of fresh seafood. Best spa 🙏 thank you all team to best service and great memories for us. Hope to see you again.
Excellent location. Good restaurant. Many activities available. Awesome pool and beach. Rooms are basic, but comfortable, clean and quiet. I think Long set beach is probably the best place to stay on the island unless you’re looking for secluded resorts.
Amazing time in a beautiful resort. Putstanding beach, excellent food, and 2 swimming pools. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, and the sunset was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
The beachfront was great, water crystal clear. The best part about the hotel were the activities they offered - night plankton snorkel and day snorkelling trip. The beds were really comfy.
Best place to stay on the island if you’re looking for a place directly on the beach, atmosphere is unmatched, staff are unreal, can always count on a Mad Monkey to deliver the best times
Amazing beach. Super attentive staff. Layed back small boutique hotel.
Food is excellent. I am vegan and they adjusted everything for me. It was gourmet.
