Best part of the island! Long difficult road to drive from the airport- about 40 miles but takes about two hours. Do not recommend driving the pothole ridden and steep roads during dark. Gros Islet is absolutely beautiful- very laid back, relaxing, safe, and had everything you need for a great family vacation. All beaches are public access, so you can go to any "resort" beach as long as you do not use the beach furniture or umbrellas- they cannot kick you off the beach.

The area near and around Bay Gardens Beach Resort was a very good area. Lots of amenities at this Resort and the staff was excellent. My only concern were the food portions. As an adult I'd like adult portions instead of kid portions at mealtime. Aside from that, this is a GREAT Resort to vacation at. The Water Park in front of the Resort was definitely a plus for the people with kids. I didn't use the Park but if I were traveling with my family who has kids, they would've been out in the water at the Park from early in the morning to late at night.

Try the local food and enjoy the island.
Try the local food and enjoy the island. Make sure you have change in usd because money exchange might be difficult or you will have a bad exchange rate. Gros Islet and Rodney Bay both have a lot of good breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Get a dataplan for your phone, i had a Digicell simcard.

Enjoy it a lot felt like a home away from home .
Enjoy it a lot felt like a home away from home . Angelika made me felt very welcome and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. IE taking me around when needed and if she couldn’t put me on to the people or person who could . Mark also gave me the sense that there was no task you could not ask of him . Didn’t need to because the place and my stay was perfect
This was my first time renting a home in saint lucia, so I was a bit nervous. But after speaking with the host a few days prior to my arrival- she made me feel so at ease (I ❤️) . I was so pleased with the property- the property was updated with all modern amenities, from the flat screen stove top to the water fall shower head and not to forgetthe washer and dryer that also came with the property. This will be my go to property for all my future saint lucia trips. 10 out of 10 in my book, must recommend.
Until next time.
I ended up staying here 11 nights. It's well run.The rooms are very clean.Strong wifi.Good air con.No shabbiness anywhere. Breakfast was ok.I appreciated they had soy lattes ,oatmeal ,dried plums ,fish and baked beans-in addition to the usual offerings. The front desk staff were consistently helpful and friendly.
Taxis stand 20 yards from reception. The walk to the nearest beach is 15 pleasant minutes. Hotel has a shuttle, but I never used it.
Its my first time coming to Landings i must say that i really had a lovely stay. I am definitely coming back! Everything about my room was great. The staff were very pleasant and sweet. Service was to a T. Ché, Bernice and Noe we very helpful and made sure that we enjoyed even if we only came for one night. Landings is now the top hotel on my list. You guys deserve 5 stars.
Located steps away from the beach, this hotel is at prime location for seaside relaxation. While it lacks a swimming pool, the proximity to the ocean more than compensates for it. As vegan guests, we were delighted to find that the breakfast options were vegan-friendly. Additionally, the staff promptly addressed any minor issues we encountered with the door and water.
The hotel and resort were beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive and overall the rooms were great. Nice varied selection at breakfast and tasty food.
The sister hotel the Bay Gardens Resort had a great beach with not too many people, so was able to get loungers and umbrellas.
It was utterly lovely. Bright and simple which is exactly what we wanted. It felt as if we were staying in the real St Lucia surrounded by tropical rain forest with hummingbirds and frogs in the trees.
The hosts couldn’t have been kinder and welcomed us like good friends
The best place I stayed during all my stay in St Lucia. Original, quiet, excellent hosts, clean, comfortable, managed by locals (not by foreign who underpay locals in full board resorts) The only thing I regret, that i only discovered this placed on my last night
All of the staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful and ensured that we enjoyed our vacation. Never been to any resort or hotel with better staff than the windjammer. Beach was beautiful activities were plenty, and the restaurants had great food !
As part of the Bay Gardens Group of hotels certain basic and expected standards such as meals, room care, general hospitality and shuttling from one entity to the next were maintained. The efforts made by the staff in these areas made our stay enjoyable.
The property at the Harbor club was amazing the staff was a lot of fun they were very helpful at times and a times and at times they weren’t. I would go back here due to the location of the hotel it’s Close to Rodney Bay and the view is amazing.
Julian was very kind to pick me up from the airport and drop me off at ferry port for cheaper than a taxi. Also did a full island tour. My room was upgraded as I was the only person in the hotel, good tv and AC.
The hotel's location is always a positive. Staff were very friendly, helpful and resourceful. Generally, the room was ideally located, clean and comfortable. An overall good value for money experience.
Everything! The hosts were amazing! They run a beautiful hotel and are super accommodating. I will definitely come back! If you want a beautiful, dream like place this is it.
Very nice spacious beach. Not many in at Lucia that are long and spacious. It’s in the nicer area of st Lucia. Malls and stores around. Car rentals. Safe area
