Offering rooms with balcony views and free Wi-Fi, the Bay Gardens Inn near Rodney Bay in Saint Lucia offers an outdoor pool and beach shuttle. This hotel did a great job considering the times we are in. Staff were fantastic. Room was comfortable, 2 minute walk to shops. It's a 10 minute walk to beach but much cheaper than the beach resorts so well worth it in my opinion

Best part of the island! Long difficult road to drive from the airport- about 40 miles but takes about two hours. Do not recommend driving the pothole ridden and steep roads during dark. Gros Islet is absolutely beautiful- very laid back, relaxing, safe, and had everything you need for a great family vacation. All beaches are public access, so you can go to any "resort" beach as long as you do not use the beach furniture or umbrellas- they cannot kick you off the beach.
Gros Islet is a fairly compact area which is easy to walk around. The locals are very friendly towards tourists. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, fast food take away, supermarkets and duty free shopping.
The area near and around Bay Gardens Beach Resort was a very good area. Lots of amenities at this Resort and the staff was excellent. My only concern were the food portions. As an adult I'd like adult portions instead of kid portions at mealtime. Aside from that, this is a GREAT Resort to vacation at. The Water Park in front of the Resort was definitely a plus for the people with kids. I didn't use the Park but if I were traveling with my family who has kids, they would've been out in the water at the Park from early in the morning to late at night.
Great location for every thing such as the Pearl boat party, Friday Jump up parties, great transport if you want to get to castries. The habour is right there with great restaurants. Close to car rentals, cash machines.
Try the local food and enjoy the island. Make sure you have change in usd because money exchange might be difficult or you will have a bad exchange rate. Gros Islet and Rodney Bay both have a lot of good breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Get a dataplan for your phone, i had a Digicell simcard.
Enjoy it a lot felt like a home away from home . Angelika made me felt very welcome and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. IE taking me around when needed and if she couldn’t put me on to the people or person who could . Mark also gave me the sense that there was no task you could not ask of him . Didn’t need to because the place and my stay was perfect
Hands down the most luxurious hotel I’ve ever been in. It lives up to the hype! I had an amazing view and I definitely plan on returning. Dinner by the water was the most magical thing ever. And the staff was so caring !!! Even if I waited almost 2 hours for my breakfast due to high orders from people watching FIFA, they were supper sympathetic and professional and offered compensation for the delay. Saint Lucia is my home and staff like the ones at harbour club remind me why I love saint lucia so much. can’t wait to come again!
Gros Islet
This was my first time renting a home in saint lucia, so I was a bit nervous. But after speaking with the host a few days prior to my arrival- she made me feel so at ease (I ❤️) . I was so pleased with the property- the property was updated with all modern amenities, from the flat screen stove top to the water fall shower head and not to forgetthe washer and dryer that also came with the property. This will be my go to property for all my future saint lucia trips. 10 out of 10 in my book, must recommend. Until next time.
Room was spacious even with the two double beds. Nice bathroom. Needs more plug sockets though. Staff were so polite although the service in the restaurant was very slow. Had to wait ages for food and on 2 occasions for someone to take my drinks order. However the staff apologised and were courteous and professional during all my interaction with them. Liked the fact that there were several pools and lounge areas around the hotel.
Amazing boutique owned by locals. Most resorts on the island are owned by foreign companies which means very little of the $ stays on the island (they don’t pay taxes). this hotel is so spacious and open and we loved the location (near the beach). the people here were lovely and always eager to help! highly recommend this experience over a resort
This resort will exceed all your expectations; simply nothing is too much for the team here, and the pictures do not do the place justice. My top tip would be to contact the concierge team as early as possible, everything is possible with these guys at the hotel. We can't recommend this property highly enough!
Gros Islet
The best place I stayed during all my stay in St Lucia. Original, quiet, excellent hosts, clean, comfortable, managed by locals (not by foreign who underpay locals in full board resorts) The only thing I regret, that i only discovered this placed on my last night
Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed the food and the pool. The room was okay. The beds were comfortable. We had an issue with the ac unit and we were relocated to another room. I like the fact that the hotel is not far from the town.
Gros Islet
The hotel was really well kept and had a very friendly St. Lucian feel about it. The staff were helpful and obliging. My personal thoughts are that this hotel performs well above its price bracket in terms of service and offerings.
The hotel's location is always a positive. Staff were very friendly, helpful and resourceful. Generally, the room was ideally located, clean and comfortable. An overall good value for money experience.
The setting of the hotel was amazing. Plenty of facilities like restaurants, bars and pool along with its own beach. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They are a credit to the hotel.

The location of the hotel; the accessibility to both the beach and pool; the scheduled activities, and the staff was accommodating, friendly and helpful.
