Overlooking Fort de France's city Simon Hotel offers comfortable facilities such as a 24-hour front desk. Hotel Parking is available on reservation, parking spaces are limited. It was ideal for me, within walking distance to every thing in Fort-de-France eg banks, supermarkets, markets, historical and cultural sites. Since it is close to the sea, the walk along the seawall/ Malecon is very nice with good views of Trois Ilets , Fort St. Louis and the town. Breakfast was superb. Eat as much as you want. The breakfast staff very nice and efficient. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful , friendly and efficient. Very comfortable bed and beautiful room. I slept soundly. I have stayed there before so I knew what to expect

Many families visiting Fort-de-France loved staying at B&B HOTEL Fort-de-France, Simon Hotel, and Residence Fort Savane.
Like any other cities in the world, Fort de France is crowded with cars, people, shops, restaurants. It's relatively clean I must say. Perfect for solo or couple travellers. Not if you have kids to stay in this area.
A VISIT TO JARDIN DE BALATA IS A MUST TO VIEW ALL NATIVE SPECIES AS WELL AS THOSE FROM OTHER REGIONS. THE BIRDS IN THE GARDENS ARE EXTREMELY VOCAL-HAPPY CREATURES TO LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. HASTA LA PIZZA IS A MUST FOR GREAT PIZZA & RIGHT NEAR THE WATER.
Very good public transport system. With the addition of the new TCSP service, getting to many places of interest is quick and easy. There is a big choice of restaurants within walking distance, making eating out very easy.
We had been working long and hard for the past year and needed a quiet, no-hassle, short and quick break. Martinique was easy for us to get to. It was off-season and that was fine with us as we really didn't want to do very much. The city is clean, quiet, friendly, pretty, green, cultured and not expensive. The tourist centre was helpful. We tried to find some local art and craft, hand made things but there didn't seem to even be an art gallery. The Saturday market was interesting. We could not charge up our phones because of the power difference and we couldn't find an adapter to buy. We walked everywhere. Street food in the Savanne was just fine.
Very interesting, lots to see on Island. Dont need to spend or have hotel in FDF proper. Take ferry to trois ilets, see Pageriw museum. Food and drink excellent allover island. French, creole, fish, etc.
I visited FDF frequently in the 1980’s and could not get enough of it! I loved the charm, the food and the people. However, I was a bit disappointed on my return! Too many abandoned buildings or derelict buildings in the city. The city desperately needs a fresh coat (or two) of paint!
Comfortable beds, modern interior, sound-proof room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to reach on foot if you arrive by ferry. The tramway from and to the airport stops close by. Good location, lots of restaurants and snack bars in the neighbourhood and close to the main points of interest. They don't do breakfast at the hotel, but there's a coffee machine and a refrigerator in the room, and the staff gave us a list of nearby places to have breakfast.
We had the warmest welcome from the hotel staff. We stayed in a sea view room and the view from our balcony was amazing.Very clean and comfortable room. A very special mention to the housekeeping and the front desk. They made sure the rings I forgot in my room(715) on 25th December were kept and returned to me.I forgot to ask for their names but I feel so grateful and would like to thank them!
Stylish hotel more or less exactly in center. Minutes to the beach ferries, the little beach in Fort de France and the city center. I loved the balconies (especially top floor which I had) giving you great morning and evening sun and view over the big park and parts of the ocean.
Fort-de-France
it feels like staying at a friends place, but with the perks from an hotel. Their pool is a perfect and the view is amassing. Will definitely return when I am back in Martinique the next time.

Fort-de-France
Patrick has built a haven of tranquility. Green relaxed, well designed and he gives the best of service ever. You can see he thought of every little thing (up to the 1 big metal cherry placed in each room). We were so happy to see the place when we got there and anything afterwards just improved.
