Me and my wife needed a place to stay 1 night before we take a sailboad from Soufriere.
The place is very close to the main pier where the boats anchor and all you need is around the hotel. Restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy. I had an issue with my board during the flight to Sta. Lucia and I could find all materials needed to fix my kite board neraby the hotel.
Offering stunning views of the Caribbean sea and featuring an infinity pool and a covered lounge with bar. Tet Rouge, an adults-only resort, is located 6.8 mi from Soufriere Bay.

Breakfast was delightful in the outdoor restaurant; staff was friendly and professional; manager Garvin is exceptional! Extremely helpful, responsive, warm and professional.

Incredible views - stunning view of the petit piton. It’s located high in the mountains so much cooler climate than in the town of Soufriere and very breezy but that means it’s away from the convenience of the town and not close to a beach. Unmatched views of the mountains though. The herb garden is stunning and expansive - it feels as though you are in a wild jungle with plentiful lush vegetables and produce are made on site which means the veggies at dinner are the best we had on the island. Breakfast was really different and lovely and you could tell freshly made

Green Fig was a very special place. The panoramic views from the swimming pool and restaurant/bar were exceptional. The swimming pool is pretty small but very deep and super refreshing after a hot day. Our room was tucked into the side of the hill, almost built inside of a cave. The outside area was open and overlooks the Piton. That’s what really made this room so special. My wife and I enjoyed sitting out there near sunset, listening to all the sounds beneath us in the town below while looking out over the ocean sipping a cocktail. This place was all about location. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was good. But, nothing moves fast here, so don’t be in a hurry. We really enjoyed our stay.
Located in beautiful grounds overlooking Pitons Bay, Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort offers luxurious accommodations with views of the surrounding valley.
We are located 1.6 miles away from Soufriere Town central in the community of Fond St Jacques.17 miles from Hewanoŕra International Airport.

The pool area was stunning, the amenities were great and the place also fulfilled unanticipated needs. The host and staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Private house, 2 bedrooms, AC in the first bedroom which is where we slept, felt very safe due to where it is in the town.

We were looking for a place to visit where we could travel...
We were looking for a place to visit where we could travel around on our own, make our own meals, explore nature and see beautiful scenery, and see what the country is like for the people who live there - and Saint Lucia was perfect! As long as you're up for the challenges of driving on the left side of the road with the driver's seat on the right, on sometimes very steep, curvy and rough roads (even just to get to your accommodations!), it's a great and safe country to drive around (highly recommend renting a 4-wheel drive jeep!). There are lots of sights to see and things to do within short distances, many places to shop for groceries or eat out, and many beaches to explore. We loved that all the beaches are public so we saw many local people enjoying the beach and sea on a holiday where we went to snorkel. It was very hot and humid when we went in May so we didn't do as much hiking as we planned, but there is a lot of hiking and trails to see waterfalls etc. that you can do. Definitely visit Tet Paul Nature Trail and highly recommend a boat cruise- we did a Sunset Cruise with Mystic Man Cruises and had an amazing experience- beautiful views along the coast and of the Pitons, and a school of dolphins surrounded us! We spent half our time in Saint Lucia near Soufriere in the mountains on the coast with a stunning view of the Pitons and the sea, and the other half further north in Choc Bay right on the beach, and it was truly the best of both worlds! Not overly touristy, commercial or crowded, and very friendly people! Things were more expensive than we expected - e.g. the cost of groceries surprised us - even for fruits they grow locally. However we so thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, it was definitely worth it!

Soufriere is a weird kind of place, it looks sad and it was a place where we didn't feel safe, lots of men sitting around offering you stuff, we only found 1 restaurant half decent (where we ate at twice and the food was lovely, don't remember the name but it's close to the dock and it looks like it's where tour guides take tourists to), lots of drunk people on the street too.
I understand why people go to St Lucia and just stay at their resorts, this area is not yet prepared to receive tourists who like to explore.
The beaches nearby are nice but Sugar Beach is ridiculous, yes, it is beautiful but it is absurd that a 5 star hotel takes up the whole beach.
I'm glad we only spent 1 night here and the rest of the holiday in Rodney Bay, where there are more restaurants and lovely beaches. Much better infra-structure for tourism.

Great place for a base to St Lucia, as the most interesting places to visit are near here. There are a lot of locals that hang out in the city which makes it congested but they are very friendly, and all the people in the shops were friendly as well. The beach in the city is decent, and free, whereas the nearby resort ones are very nice but cost $$. I would base here again. Driving the road north is something you'll want to do only once due to how long it takes and the aggressive drivers, so plan accordingly!! :)

The resorts are great, it’s close to many adventures and sights… but in all my years of travel I’ve never been so hounded by peddlers. There were a few times we felt unsafe and were yelled at for not buying something. We

Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.

It was exactly what we were looking for
It was exactly what we were looking for
So much to see and experience:
- Sulfur spring Mud Bath - $10US
- Jerusalem Mineral Baths (recommended) $4US
- Botanical Gardens - $6US
- Tet Paul hike (approx. 1 hr) -$10US
- Anse Mamin (our favourite beach)
- Chastanet Beach
- Hummingbird Beach - local beach
- Sugar beach (our least favorite, busy with tours, snorkeling)
- Roots restaurant in center of Soufrier
- Fedo's restaurant - great local food
The location and the scenic views from Green Fig are most amazing. We were awed by the natural beauty. around us. Our room, a Deluxe Queen, was unique because of the attached terrace. It offered the sweeping view of Petit Piton, Carribean sea, plus it had two giant trees and a cave at the back.
The staff was most friendly and courteous, especially Tasha, the Front Desk Manager. We got hotel -car pick us twice from the Public Beach.where there are no Taxi.and the walk back to the resort is quite challenging for seniors.
We loved our stay at Maggie's Inn in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Our host, Christopher, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed: towels for the sulphur springs, drying racks for our wet things, a stocked kitchen so we could make our meals if we wanted, and a lovely deck overlooking the town and ocean to enjoy it by! Our beautiful suite had every modern amenity. Each plug had a USB port for our electronics, which we appreciated, and the A/C was a welcome relief after a hot day!
The staff are terrific and the grounds are gorgeous. The cottages are so cute! The breakfast is very good. Jenny, from the front desk was our "go to" person. She should be made the manager of Fond Doux. The location of Fond Doux is perfect for doing all of the activities in the south. It was very close to Malgretoute Beach, a good beach for snorkeling. The hotel there, the Paradise Hotel. has a restaurant and people to bring you doo and drinks to your $15 chairs.
The location is perfect, a block from the beach in the city of Soufriere, so you can walk around easily. Much better than staying in a luxury resort up on the hill, this is the way how you can meet locals and learn how they live their everyday lives. The apartment is brand new and perfectly clean, and the owner is so helpful and nice. The view from the balcony is spectacular
- The view from the hotel
- Very large room with superb balcony
- The pools, which give the impression of having an almost private pool
- The staff were very attentive (especially Kitty and the handyman - unfortunately I can't remember his name)
- The restaurant is quite good with a local and international menu
- The cocktails in the bar are good
Great location and spacious apartment, very clean. Balcony a great spot for view and birdwatching. Staff friendly and seashells restaurant a nice place to eat. A local guide Peter organised a boat trip for snorkelling including sugar beach and an inland tour- both good. Recommend Soufrière for a southern St Lucia vibe.
Soufriere is a good option on St Lucia, especially for the Pitons. Frenz well located a short walk to beach or supermarket. Apartment had everything I needed and was large and comfortable with a small terrace. Very friendly and responsive communication. Happy to recommend.
right in the centre of Soufriere so a good base to go anywhere. this is a no frills hotel and, as long as you come with that expectation, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it here. fyi - most places in Soufriere stop serving food by 5/6pm!
The location was amazing. Close walk to the beach, downtown Soufriere, restaurants, and grocery stores. Valery was a fantastic and thoughtful host. Favorite part was the herb garden and being able to sit out on the front patio.
Arletta goes to great lengths to make sure you have everything you need and even things you didn’t know you needed. 😆. It is a cute little place in Soufriere that is a close drive or ride to everything.
Amazing views from the pool and our room (Could be the best view I have ever seen, could look at it all day). Quiet Location away from the busier Soufries Town. Staff around the hotel were very nice.
Great location 2 min"s to the beach, fantastic scenery, in the heart of the town of Soufriere.
Lots of places to eat. Apartment very clean
Thanks to Mora and Sil great place for a short
Stay.
One of the best accomodation we had in St Lucia. Amazing view from balcony.
Communication with Whitney was great.
He is super friendly and helped us what to do in Soufriere.
Thank you
This place is located in the Hills of Soufriere, close to all the iconic experiences. Dimond waterfalls, Pitons, Botanical Gardens, water taxis from Soufriere beach & so much more.
Room was big, view to the Pitons was breathtaking. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel, the food was nice although the restaurant is understaffed.
