Quiet town with amazing seaside bulevard, usually full with people but not that crowded.
Bar's location is optimal along the adriatic coast of Montenegro, which makes it an ideal town to stay for those who are planning to roam around other coast destinations, bith north and south alike.

The location is very good.
The location is very good. Sea is 800 m away, central square 400 m, bus station 300 m, railway station 400 m. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, comfortable bed and mattress, air conditioner. The hosts offer free beach umbrellas and blankets for sleeping on the beach. The apartment has internet, there is a smart box with which you can connect your smart devices to the big TV screen.
Unfortunately, the hosts have also had negative experiences , so a security deposit was required before arrival, which was then returned to us.

Bar is an interesting city, not only a touristic, but also a harbour one. You can meet some exotic people here, and some exotic wares at shops' shelves. Most of the city is composed of private houses, therefore it sprawls quite wide, 10+ km along the coast line. But it is long and thin, so to say, and you can always reach sea quickly.

We had the opportunity to visit few cicties on the seaside like Sutomore, Budva or Ulcinj but Bar seems to be quite calm and not crowded place. Additional Bar has it's railway connection with capitol city and aeroport what gives a better possibility to arrive there.

Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora.
Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora. With opportunity for major
redevelopment over recent decades, the centre has been well planned
with an eye to "green" environment. The same may not be said of the
suburbs where there is pressure to intensify building.
The railway and bus stations are on the edge of town - the railway
forming a boundary crossed by bridges to the suburbs beyond. The
docks and port are well separated from the town centre. Some local
public transport exists but seems fairly sparse - fares are cheap.
This is a human-scale town for which a mental map could be easily
developed within a few days.

An interesting place with a beautiful Old Bar.
An interesting place with a beautiful Old Bar.
The heavy traffic on the roads was a bit of a nuisance, and since we were getting around the city and its surroundings by bicycle, we missed having dedicated bike paths.
The perfect place to have a peaceful stay in the mountains. You will have all the space for you, the first floor they use as a deposit. Everything is comfortable, we even had free new sleepers and some chocolates. The furniture is mostly new with some vintage. The view from the windows is awesome. The village is very picturesque, has 2 monasteries near, one of them owns the building of the first school in Montenegro. Really near to Skadar Lake, on the way you can find some restaurants and the supermarket. 20 minutes drive to the sea.
The hotel is located in a suburban place, you can have a rest from the city chaos . Meanwhile the city Bar and Budva are not far for sightseeing, you can get them by taxi. The grocery is in a walking distance, but the surrounding isn’t nice. The hotel is new, everything is nice, beds are comfortable, sea view, stunning sunsets at the balcony. Quiet hotel at the edge of the rocks what makes the stay there quite an unusual experience but for sure worth staying there. Don’t forget goggles , you can admire the sea wildlife
Maja and her family are super friendly and helpful. Really best hosts you can have. She helped us with planning our trips, gave directions and drove us to the train station on our last day. She was always there whenever we needed help. Place is super calm, you can relax after going back to your your room. There is a bakery and a market very close to the apartment. I really recommend you to stay with Maja whenever you are in Bar, Montenegro :)
There was friendly atmosphere I felt like I were the part of their family. The hotel view is fantastic I dare to guess one of the best in Bar.
Breakfast was the most delicious during my journey in Montenegro (fried eggs, 2 types of sosages, bread, fruits and vegetables, turkish coffee).
If I be in Bar again I will definitely visit this place.
The room is beutiful but not very funcianal. I think it is okey for such price.
Zoran is a brilliant host who can organise everything for your stay!! His flats are at a top location and near the Bar city centre and the beach! You have a fantastic pool with stunning views for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Clean and tidy room with fridge! Highly reccommend his flats for anyone wishing to stay in Bar or Montenegro! Loved it!!👍I will be back next year with my wife and bring more friends!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The non-smoking room was spotless and fresh, providing a truly enjoyable experience. The internet connection was excellent, and the spacious room and comfy bed added to the overall comfort. Highly recommended!
P.S. Despite being situated in a construction area, villa pleasantly surprised me with its tranquil atmosphere.
In the center of Bar,few minutes from beach, shops, restaurants, cafes.Fully equipped, new furniture, plenty of linen, towels, toiletries.Plus teas and domestic coffee for real welcoming. And yet, peaceful at night.
Real value for money.Ideal for couples and solo travelers-search no further!
Thanks Sladjana for being great host too.
My address when in Bar!
What a beautiful little resort in the hills of Stari Bar. While the design is very classic, the resort and facilities are brand new... I'm not sure that the pictures do it justice. It's a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The spa is lovely, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant
Very nice apartment with great view and terrace. Ivana is welcoming and helpful. The parking and the great surface of the property make it ideal for a few days or a week. Also, Bar is close to many points of interest in Montenegro so you can explore around and come back to your comfortable home.
- All the facilities are brand new
- Comfortable beds
- There are many toilets and showers
- Very good location, close to the bus and train station
- Sociable atmosphere, you meet other travelers
- Very helpful and knowledgeable owner.
This is definitely the best option in Bar. I’ll return!
Very clean apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Ana was really lovely to deal with and very helpful.
Location near the beach and not too far from the town centre. Walking up to the Stari Bar, Old Town, is well worth the effort, about 6km from the apartment. Cathedral lovely too.
Communication with the Hotel was superb. I had a late arrival and 5am departure. The staff could not have been more kind if they tried. they even provided a beautiful packed breakfast for me to take as I left before breakfast was served. room was large, quiet and comfortable.
Very nice host. I was picked up at the airport, at a very reasonable price. I was shown around by the host to see some of Montenegro also at a very reasonable price. Very good bed in the apartment. Everything that is needed was in the kitchen.
Can only recommend this place.
Very nice property and wonderful view from 11th stage balcony!
Wonderful supermarket is just beside the property.
Certain beaches are very closed to the property (most beaches in Bar are stoned and protective swimming shoes are necessary).
Full satisfaction,
great location for Stari Bar, lovely indoor pool (outdoor was closed due to season). Be advised this is a halal hotel, and no alcohol is served. Very unusual in a hotel of this quality, and I might not have booked had a known.
It was the best reservation that we had in Montenegro. Room was spacious and cozy, we had extra bed and facilities was fresh.
There are great nude beaches in 10 mins by walk. Host was extremely helpful and friendly.
Perfectly nice place, Emre welcomed us nicely, sharing informations about Bar and Monténégro. The hostel is new house (actually outdoor facade not finished yet) very clean and modern.
Boutique hotel next to the private beach with snack bar where they also serve you your breakfast. We had two balconies with sea view. Modern comfy rooms. Very clean.
Host was very welcoming but at the same time gave freedom and space. Great value for money. If I would visit Bar again I would choose the same apartment.
