Eco Hotel Carrubba, hotel in Donji Morinj

Located in an old picturesque village of Donja Lastva, Eco Hotel Carrubba is set right next to the sea. It features a sauna and a restaurant that overlooks the sea. All rooms overlook the Tivat Bay.

The location was too perfect! Did not matter where we went, still the most beautifull view in montenegro was from our balcony.. breakfast was good and more than enough choice. Kind staff and very comfy sauna and lounge room that was attached to it. Walking distance few restaurants with good food and much better prices than in other places like city centre.

Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen utensils for cooking. Would be helpful to have some necessities such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, which guests staying only a few nights as we did, are unlikely to purchase. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms means the apartment would be particularly good value when shared between more than one family. Good base for exploring Boka Bay, though there are options closer to Kotor if this is your main reason for visiting. All in all we found the apartment a great base for our short trip. The pool area was lovely with sensational views. We would have liked to know that there was no cafe/ bar on site however, as the photos showed, as this was part of the reason we chose this particular apartment. During the day we ate at Tramontana Beach Bar which was lovely - a bonus was the children’s play area. We had a day out exploring Boka Bay with a private hire boat company - Taxi Boat 65. We found this to be an excellent way to make the most of our short time there and our skipper to be very knowledgeable and informative. On this day we ate at Ribarsko selo - a fish/ seafood restaurant accessed by boat. The setting was beautiful and the food wonderful. You do need to book ahead.

Charming village popular with (returning) European tourists, but without touristy feel. Great restaurant along the town's creek, cafe-bars, good small -medium market and good boutique market As well, there is an upscale restaurant for bigger spenders which is to world class (Catovic). Vibe is civilized and also resort like. Scenery is breathtaking.

This corner of the Koto bay halfway between the towns of Kotor and Herceg Novi, houses the village of Morinj, a small picturesque seaside hamlet known for its lush green mountainous slopes, crystal clear springs and creeks, old watermills and rich cultural history.
