Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous relaxing pool area and great staff. They were always happy to help and so polite. You can order drinks and food by the pool, either at outside tables or to your sun lounger. Rooms were lovely and clean and reception staff were very helpful. We only had breakfast twice as it wasn’t included but there was a great selection. Water and ice machines on each floor were a bonus - sounds minor but it saved a huge amount of effort and money getting bottled water and very eco friendly.

Scenic and energetic, Sliema is perched on the limestone banks of the Mediterranean Sea in the historic and charming island of Malta. It is a perfect coastal holiday destination and ideal base to discover the Maltese Islands.

A short drive from Sliema, Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal offers direct services to Comino and Gozo, which are great for sightseeing, diving, swimming and the unique boat trip around Blue Lagoon.

Discover Malta, from the marvellous Tarxien Temples, to the traditional and colourful boats and fusions of freshly cooked seafood in Marsaxlokk.     Sliema is very central, close to most amenities such as shopping, restaurants and transportation. Unfortunately, the infrastructure has a lot to be desired. The sidewalks are a complete mess and very unsafe to navigate especially for senior citizens.

    Sliema is a lovely place for a walk, a run or a swim.

    Sliema is a lovely place for a walk, a run or a swim. There are several coffee shops and restaurants. The city could be improved a lot but it is not in the local mentality. There are some lovely Sicilian coffee shops around and with as little as 8 euros you can buy 11 delicious "pastizzi" and a meat pie.... enough to feed 5-6 people. Some of the better experiences in terms of restaurants were Felice at the Gzira sea-front, Oka at Balluta Bay (St. Julians) and Barracuda, just meters away from the church. Many lovely bars and particularly noteworthy was Reno's in Howard Street, Sliema where you can drink to your hearts content without going broke.

    The Preluna Hotel is situated in Tower Road.

    The Preluna Hotel is situated in Tower Road. This is the most sought after location by tourists and Maltese alike. Excellent spot for walking along the Qui Si Sana, Exiles, Spinola up to St Julian's promenade. On another note, this area is full of good restaurants.

    Sliema was a great location as close to ferry, buses etc so easy to travel to different parts of the island. Sliema itself was a lovely area with nice restaurants, bars and variety of shops. Favourite restaurants were Lou's, Felice Brasserie and Tiffany's Bistro. For drinks The Londoner had great choice of dinks and lovely staff with live music some nights.

    The apartment was perfect for our group of 6 people.

    The apartment was perfect for our group of 6 people. Ground floor , easy access, very safe. Everything was brand new & clean. Would highly recommend this place . The kettle had euro plug so we had to use an adapter. The welcoming wine & water bottles was a lovely touch.

    Sliema is good for staying in Malta more than 1-2 days. It has a lot of transport options (taxi, bus, boats/ferries) and is a good starting point for every day. You can be in Valetta in a few minutes with a ferry. It's full of shopping and dining options. Also feels very safe.

    The hotel was is the perfect location for getting around Malta- particularly Sliema and Valletta. Other nearby areas were only a quick taxi, or a slightly longer bus journey. The room was great and had lots of space with good finishings- the turn down service in the evening was a lovely added touch too. The hotel was gorgeous and facilities were brilliant. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the rooftop pool and the TemptAsian restaurant. There were different theme nights and offers throughout the week which can be enjoyed too.

    Super, we are very satisfied! Everything is within walking distance, both the centre of Sliema, the ferry and St. Gulian. Close to the beach and the promenade. The hotel is new and super clean. Beds are big and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and varied, something for everyone. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Recommended!

    The hotel is located right in Sliema with beautiful views on Valletta (def recommend booking the seaview rooms with balcony - worth it). The rooms are big and have everything you need. They are cleaned daily and are very comfortable. The hotel seems very new and modern. Sliema is one of the best locations to stay in Malta.

    The hotel is positioned quite centrally in Sliema but away from the main front so it was nice and quiet. We loved the beach club which was a short 2/3 min walk down to the seafront and lots of beds and bar/restaurant. Staff in the hotel were lovely and the breakfast is really good, lovely variety of hot and cold food.
