Large room with a great view of the ocean. It is an older property, bathrooms could be updated (they were doing some work on the first level, not sure what was being done). Good location with plenty of food options within walking distance. Pool was nice, right on the ocean. This is located in a more "industrial" part of town, however we could walk to the restaurants and able to walk along the beach, which is what we wanted most.

The price was INCREDIBLE and for the money this room was FANTASTIC, albeit very basic. Beds were very firm, shower had hot water, the room was clean and the hosts were so friendly, helpful. All of this at 1980s prices! Wow!

The city was nice but the hotel was not. It really need an update. For the money it cost to stay there, you would think it had to be better. I would never go again.
Also be very careful at the beach. DO NOT GO IN THE WATER. The whole time we were there they has RED Flags Waring.
A big group party of people were staying next to us at the hotel. In one of the last night we stayed, We started to hear a lot of people crying. One of the man in the group had gone in the beach/ocean got caught in the waves and drowned. It was so sad that we left early.

The food at the buffet was good, a decent variety was offered, but all very Mexican. Even the dish descriptions were in Spanish, so you are left guessing if you only spoke and read English. Not much in the way of non-Mexican cuisine. Also, if you aren't 30 - 45 with a whole pile of toddlers, you might be overwhelmed. Almost all guests were Mexican families, so it was difficult finding anyone to talk to. And the music every day was LOUD! No relaxing for us! The activity directors were LOUD! We checked out early.

Manzanillo is a wonderful destination.
Manzanillo is a wonderful destination. It is kind of the step-sister to Puerto Vallarta to the north and Zihuatanejo to the south. It gets a bad rap because it is a "port city". You will find alot less tourists and a feel that is more authentic Mexico. If you can arrange a fishing trip, do it! The fishing is fantastic. North of the downtown area, you will find fantastic beaches.

First time in Manzanillo and found it very enjoyable with a good swimming beach for all ages and a beautiful setting. We stayed in a condo in Puerto las Hadas which was such a beautiful location above the port of Manzanillo. Great pool for doing lengths, good restaurant and lots of friendly people. Would return for sure.

The whole Beachside in Manzanillo is a mess.
The whole Beachside in Manzanillo is a mess. Of the 8 km long beach and beachfront around 6 km are houses, ex resaturants and so on that are not in order or even burned down. It is an ugly side, really. Dont know, why a city can come down in this way
This hotel is the worst ever. Dirty, stinky, uncomfortable, and low-quality food. My family and I lived a nightmare. The bathrooms didn't work, no hot water, very old furniture, and the beds were a nightmare. Spider webs in the restaurant chairs, and ants in the food bar. Omg!! It was horrible .We couldn't stay one more day, so I lost my money. I cried so much because my first vacation with my family got ruined.
The house is what you need in Manzanillo, it’s big and has fantastic views it’s located in a very safe area where the city center is accessible. There is an individual bathroom for guests. The host was amiable and made the trip feel like visiting a friend; he was helpful, understanding and kind during my two evenings there. I suggest you stay there and I will come back for sure. Thank you for everything, Ron!
Check in was easy and simple. Room was clean and spacious. AC and fan both worked. The lady working there was friendly and tried to solve some of the issues that came up. Wifi was also quite consistent. It's not in Manzanillo, it takes like 40 minutes or more depending on traffic to reach the city centre, but it's close to the beach and there's convenience stores and some bars/restaurants nearby.
I have stared at Palma Real from Playa La Boquita for over 20 years vowing that one day I'd go. So to meet that goal was a dream! The view is incredible! It is more of a condo complex than a hotel though. It's set up like a studio apartment, but the "kitchen" sink is in the bathroom, since that's where the water supply is. The shower was nice and large
I had a very bad experience with some drinks I had. Our second day at the hotel, I started having a few drinks with Bodka. After 4 drinks I lost consciousness I felt very strange according to my wife and daughter I wasn't making sense of what I was doing or saying. There is definitely something strange with that. And I encourage everyone to be safe on that.
It is a good hotel for spending the night. No eating facilities. If you have a bike or a car you can get to food, bank machine or a convenience store in less than 10. Inures. Otherwise you are subject to public transport and taxi availability.
The room was big and clean. The air conditioner worked really well, so we could stay comfortably. The price is affordable compared to other options in Manzanillo. You can keep your privacy. I recommend this to both solo and couple travelers.
