Title: Nightmarish Stay: Deceptive Listings, Neglectful Maintenance, and Overcharging
My recent stay at [Accommodation Name] was a disaster, with a litany of grievances overshadowing any semblance of comfort or relaxation:
1. **Overcharging Disaster:** Despite agreeing to pay AUD129, I was shockingly overcharged AUD131.13. This blatant deceit tainted my impression of the establishment and highlighted their disregard for honesty.
2. **Misleading Directions and Location Hell:** The provided address led my ride-hailing driver astray, leaving me to navigate rain-soaked streets for 27 minutes with a heavy suitcase. Google Maps proved equally useless, compounding my frustration.
3. **Maintenance Nightmare:** Essential amenities like the washing machine were non-functional, and the maintenance staff's negligence left the area in disarray. I nearly slipped multiple times on the wet floor due to their carelessness.
4. **Hygiene Hazards:** The bathroom was a cesspool, with a flooding floor drain posing health risks and discomfort.
5. **Inconvenient Kitchen Setup:** The absence of a power point near the kitchen sink made simple tasks needlessly cumbersome.
6. **Communication Coercion:** Despite my preference to communicate via phone for security reasons, the establishment refused to oblige, insisting on using WhatsApp. This disregard for guest preferences further eroded my trust in their professionalism.
Overall, failed spectacularly to meet even basic standards of hospitality. From misleading listings to neglectful maintenance and overcharging, my experience was a cautionary tale. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

The apartment itself was clean and there were clean towels and bed linen. There we 2 bathrooms but the second one was very ordinary.
The main bath connected to the master and huge wardrobe/dressing area was spacious with a bath. There were plenty of racks and space to hang wet towels and swimmers. The best feature in my opinion.
The dining table was set - that was a nice touch. For a family of 4 with 2 young children it was very good.
The building itself was a bit dated and old but the apartment was satisfactory.
Communication was excellent via WhatsApp. Getting a grab seemed to be only possible at the apartment lobby and not anywhere else in that area. Overall great stay.

Nusajaya will be a great neighbourhood if you want peaceful and get relax. Nusajaya isn't as busy as JB yet it has so many facilities and attractions. Puteri Harbour, Eco Botanic & Sunway BigBox might be the best places to chill! These place also has so many upcoming event. Very recommended

Mall of Medini - has a 24-hour supermarket that is super convenient for travelers to shop for essentials.
We used Grab to travel from the Residences to other locations; we didn't have to wait too long before the car arrived. Awesome!

Decent food options at Medini Mall.
Decent food options at Medini Mall. Otherwise, Grab food will have you all sorted out and delivered in 30 minutes.
Managed to travel to Restaurant Tasixi for dim sum breakfast and spent the rest of the day at Midvalley. Travelling easily via Grabtaxi and was relatively affordable. Sunway Bigbox is also nearby.
Very good value for money. Much better than booking Legoland hotel, which is 3 times the price.
Wifi worked well. Apartment was decent sized and clean.
Walking distance from Mall of Medini which has great supermarket, play area for kids and a few eateries.
Parking at Level 5 seemed pretty safe. Security guard was helpful.
The host Khimz was excellent and provided prompt responses, updates and assistance.
Would highly recommend for a Legoland trip.
The location is close to Legoland Theme Park, and our primary purpose to visit Johor Bahru was to visit Legoland. There is a shuttle bus service to Legoland Park. We tried local Malaysian food in one of the restaurants at dinner, which was amazing. Buffet breakfast was good, but more variety needs to be added. We booked 2 bedrooms apartment and its size was great for a family of four. Overall, stay was comfortable.
The view outside room
The pool quite big
Nearby Puteri Harbour, 5 minutes walking distance
This is my first time booked apartment type for my stay and the self "check in" is something new and no need wait for long queue
Overall the rest of facilities inside the room are similar to the hotel and more actually e.g safety box, door access, hair dryer, iron board, fridge, cooking utensil, induction, microoven
The living room is spacious and my kids love playing on the slide. It is easy to catch a movie indoors and just let the kids run around if you are too lazy to go out. The swimming pool also has a kids play area so your kids can play in the water when the weather is too hot. It is near legoland, just a few minutes drive. Finding a place to eat is also not difficult. Definitely worth the money.
We got the black and white apartment. Was at a high floor, with amazing view from balcony and strong breeze. Clean and walkable to legoland via Mall of Medini by crossing the roads or by driving and parking at any the two carparks at Mall of Medini. Host team is multilingual (eng malay chinese) always reachable if needed. Recommended, good choice of stay for legoland.
Breakfast was ok, there was enough food with some variety, i.e. main meals, pastries, salad, cereals, juice, tea/coffee, etc.
The pool was sufficient and there is a basic gym.
The apartment was spacious with two rooms, a living room, a kitchen and two toilets.
The location was great, only a short walk to Legoland through the Medini Mall.
Excellent location and amenities around. Convenience store, restaurants, common swimming pool on 7th floor. Puteri Harbour is quite happening, and it's a short throw from legoland. Value for money compared to hotels. Washing machine in the apartment.
Madam Siew is very helpful to facilitate our stay and replenishment of toiletries.
The apartment is very clean and tidy, high speed internet, and like the multi channel TV. The tower is very close to legoland and medini mall only 5 min walking time. Grocery shop and family restos in the mall as well. The host ms. Ella is very helpful and friendly. We will back again, very recommended place to stay in JB.
Excellent pirate-themed room with great decor, clean & hygienic, bunk-beds & toys were fun for kids, very close to the Legoland Resort, ample toiletries, staff were friendly despite the stress of peak Christmas season with so many families & kids, wide breakfast spread, the whole hotel decor was nicely done
The place is spacious. There are three bedrooms. Can fit up to 8-9 people. The towels, irons provided. Location is near legoland, only take 2-3 mins using car. The place is also not crowded. Pool was spacious not crowded even during school holidays.
Location: it's near Legoland. Can walk going to Legoland if there is no children but it's easy to get Grab around the area.
Cleaniliness: verygood and cozy place.
It is easy to communicate with the owner or facilitator of the apartment.
The 3 bedroom apartment was big... love it.. nice view... there's 24 hrs restaurant just below the hotel and convenience store just across the road.. the puteri harbour is "happening" at night.. lots of ppl..
When I requested a change to pangsapuri meridian medini the staff immediately agreed. The apartment was clean. Very near to Legoland. There were things for toddlers such as mugs, plates, babycot and toys.
