My partner and I was able to have the whole resort to ourselves. We came during an off season and was pure lucky. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it. The pool steps was right at the entrance of our room. The food was really good and the atmosphere and views were amazing. We also took a couple tours; Catarina and Granada., and opted for the massages. Leaving the resort is definitely worth the trip to experience the culture. The staff also took fantastic care of us and the owner is more then helpful and very communicative. We highly recommend staying here.

This was our first stop in Nica & what a FANTASTIC choice!! To say the staff was kind would be an understanding. To say the complimentary all day coffee was good would be an understatement. To say the location was perfect would be an understatement!! What a beautiful playground and the staff keeps it looking so lovely. You MUST try a mojito! Lucy who works at the front desk is INCREDIBLE and stupid at nothing to make sure the guests have what they need. She even took us across the street the last day so my kids could see howlers in the trees! The owner Don from Seattle was fantastic. Not only a joy to talk to but even connected us with a friend of his on Ometepe who really helped us out when we got over there. 5 Thousand Stars, we WILL be back!!!

Pacaya lodge hotel was a beautiful property with a breath taking views. The service from the staff was exceptional and inviting. The rooms were beautifully decorated, well lit, sanitized and squeaky clean. All the rooms have AC installed to keep you cool from the outside heat. Amenities were great, food was delicious and drinks were refreshing. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Definitely, we will stay again in El Guayacan next time we visit Nicaragua, hopefully very soon. This property is like a small oasis to escape form the daily life routine and enjoy the nature and meditate about the simple things in life. Tonny and the Guayacan staff are absolutely lovely. We didn't want to do the check out :). That is how amazing our experience was. Spotless and comfortable room, pool, view to the Laguna de Apoyo and Granada Town. The sounds of the wind blowing and the view of the sunset from the back patio were amazing. The Guayacan staff works very hard to make you feel like at home.

This hotel felt like a mini lake resort. The food was fantastic (we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks there). The staff was friendly and helpful with booking travel to the airport. The air conditioning worked well and our room was actually nicer in person than in pictures. Everything was comfortable and we had such a nice afternoon swimming and kayaking at the lake. Would recommend to anyone!
