Location was on point, decoration was super rustic and old school vibes, the antique pieces around the building are amazing. The room was nice. bed very comfortable, AC was great. Breakfast was good, we almost miss it but the staff brought us some of the items they had already picked up.

We found the one-way streets quite confusing for driving around…better to park and walk.
Power to the city went out for about one hour…only a few businesses actually had a back-up generator and/or candles but everyone seemed to take it in stride.

Beautiful, historic and young student city.
Beautiful, historic and young student city. Wish I stayed longer here! Museum of the Revolution explained the history and context of Leon so well, would highly recommend. Try some street food too like elote! The atmosphere is the city was the nicest in all of Nicaragua.

The old part of town is a quaint colonial place with a lot of restaurant options; I recommend the small food tour offered to see the market and learn about the different fruits and dishes. The location is perfect for a quick visit to the beaches that are less than 30 minutes away, you can catch a taxi easily there.

Cathedral is a trip of its own.
Cathedral is a trip of its own. Walking on the rooftops, and also try to visit the catacombs. Going down the cero Negro volcanoes is fun just a 30 min hike up. Nearby beaches are nice clean not crowded with plenty of activities to do.

If you have time, take a day trip to the Flor de Cana Rum Factory, only 45 minutes outside the city to the north. You have to schedule it .
I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely little hotel. The double room has a lot of day light, nice view and a direct access to a rooftop terrace with a chill zone. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful.
Very good breakfast (either Nica or pancakes with fruit) and a generous dose of coffee made my mornings here even more enjoyable.
Walking distance 15min to the centre or to the bus station to take a bus to Las Peñitas beach.
I absolutely recommend this place to everyone staying in Leon.
The spot was a lovely hostel, more chill and quiet than others in the area making it good for a more relaxing Leon trip. The staff at the spot were very friendly and very helpful with organising tours and shuttles as well as recommending places to visit and places to eat in the city. The rooms were very clean and every bed came with a person fan which was very much needed in the heat, the rooms are also cleaned every day.
Great location in Leon, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the cathedral. Nice to have an option of breakfast. Enjoyed the option to grab something from the fridge and pay at the end of the stay. Very comfortable hostel with nice sitting areas outside of the rooms. We didn't have to use the shuttle but they had a shuttle service to various locations which would be useful to many travelers.
The whole place is very pretty with so many beautiful plants and birds. The cabanas are very beautiful and comfortable. I was surprised they are so cool even without an AC.
The pool is very nice since it's so hot in Leon, and it was very clean.
Fatima is an amazing cook. Make sure to have dinner or lunch there and order from her Taiwanese menu. She puts so much love and creativity in her dishes.
Classic Leon Antique 3.5 -4 star Hotel. Attention to detail. Nicely appointed rooms with cold A/C, antique furniture throughout the hotel, beautiful courtyards, nice modern pool, good breakfast. Old time bar.
Staff was super nice and accommodating. Decent Breakfast. Rooms all named after poetry from the famed Dario Rubio. Felt like a time capsule. Very comfy and super safe!
The hotel was fabulous! It really is an escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Leon. It’s very relaxing and it is more like a museum to be honest. It’s a stunning hotel just to wander around in. The rooms were large and very comfortable with great airco. The staff were always very friendly, polite and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again 😃 Great restaurant too!
Great value and has everything you need (note - no hot water but Leon is super hot and room had AC, which was a necessity). There is a very nice lady there that runs the show and she was so accommodating. She made us dinner one night. Did our laundry twice. We had to extend our stay twice with no issue. A bit of a walk from downtown, but always good exercise.
Good value rooms. Ours didn't have air-conditioning, but the fan made it comfortable to sleep. They arranged same-day laundry service for us, which was nice. Included early breakfast before a long early-morning shuttle. Walking distance to all the atmospheric attractions of Leon.
Simply fantastic: just one single word to describe Mayerlin's place. She's an adorable person, as a gentle, helpfull and prompt host either. Located two blocks away from the town's main square, this is definitely a excellent choice for an accomodation in León.
Wonderful place to stay in Leon, for the price point. Clean rooms and with a nice outdoor garden. Relaxed atmosphere perfect for a good rest after wandering around the historic city centre; which is close by.
Everything was absolutely perfect. Big, comfy room, clean big pool, central location (5 minutes walk to all tourist attractions), and VERY strong WiFi. Very pleasant place to stay in Leon for a digital nomad.
Everything: great location to visit historic Leon by foot , colonial style building with lovingly decorated interior patio, Amazing staff (young lady) and breakfast in the morning
The room was nice and clean, there was a good wifi connection and the common area had a nice pool, which is great with the high temperatures in Leon! Overal good value for money.
