The area is gorgeous, the hotel is a bit outside of Bergen aan Zee, but the walk through the forest is very lovely. The continental breakfast was very tasty

A pleasant hotel. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate. The Hotel restaurant was excellent and the bar very cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be coming again.

Immediately along the bicycle trail through Alkmaar. Close to the Cheese Market /Museum and multiple other restaurants and shops . Relatively secure parking in the open parking garage with locked front gate . Make sure to bring your own heavy duty locks . Reception was friendly and helpful . Room 325 was spacious, bright and clean . Bathroom had great soaking bathtub and was clean with toiletries. Large elevator was available. Breakfast was a bit pricey but had quite a few hot and cold choices .

Surrounded by the sea and some of the country’s most beautiful dunes, Strandhotel Camperduin has an ideal location for a relaxing vacation filled with beach walks and fresh air.

This was our last stay for the week in Holland. And what a perfect spot to be. We biked the Alkmaar and we had dinner watching the sunset. Me and my daughter thought this was a perfect ending for our journey to The Netherlands.
