Located in Alkmaar, 230 feet from Dutch Cheesemuseum, Wolf Hotel Kitchen & Bar has a number of amenities, including a terrace, a bar and free WiFi. The location is fantastic! Right in the middle of everything! The rooms are all modern and each has a different theme. We loved the wolf room! The staff always made us feel like special guests in the restaurant and bar. We were sitting in a couple of low chairs near the front window when we decided to order food. She reserved a nearby table just in case we would be more comfortable eating at a regular height table. So thoughtful!

Very nice little town. It has everything. Nice little shops, canals, markets, museums, a mill and so on. Close to the beach and to Amsterdam. Not spoiled. Friendly people, who speak many languages. Normal prices, most of the time. Good public transport.
Alkmaar is a very beautiful and fun place to spend a couple of days. The town centre is lively and nice to look at with pretty streets full of interesting shops and surrounded by a canal. It's an hours bike ride to the beach, highly recommended.
Charming town, very pretty at night. Lots of warm cosy bars and restaurants. A little quiet and not many young people but otherwise very good. Speaking to locals said in the summer it is very busy that this is a quiet time of year
Quaint historic Dutch township, encircled by canal, with attractive streets and shopping areas. Cheese museum recommended, as is the street market held on a Saturday morning in the area by the Church (which was closed when we visited) Lots of good restaurants, which fill up early on a Friday night.... Easy to walk around the town in a few hours, despite stopping for a coffee and obligatory cake.
It’s a bustling market town with some fine buildings and one of the few remaining cheese markets in the Netherlands. Interesting shops and a number of museums to visit. Plenty of decent restaurants to choose from (I’d choose Bistro de 13 Balcken) It’s not far from the beaches at Bergen and Egmond for days out.
The carillon of the Waag, close to the Hotel, didn't help my wife to sleep well. It helped me to dream even better! The louded young people during the whole night forced us to close the windows while temperature was about 30 degrees C. without airco!... (These night temperatures are very unusual in Holland)
Great and clean room we stayed. Lovely breakfast the hotel offered. Will visit it again if any chance in the future.
Very nice hotel, good location and friendly personal. Hope will be there again :)
