The only good thing is the location.
Absolutely everything. Dirty, way overpriced, room is tiny, wifi doesn't work, etc.
Great location, decent room and shower
Wi-Fi not reachable in rooms. Breakfast too meagre. Price too high for facilities.
Wifi has really poor signal. The bathroom was really smelly and the bed is not that clean.
I found the staff friendly and reliable . The location is excellent! Perfect for single travelers or a group of friends. Not a family hotel. The rooms have to Change the carpet though, that would make the room look cleaner and tidier. The only thing that bothered me one of the nights was the music and loud tourists as the hotel is parallel to the red district . Not the hotels fault at all, just be aware that when booking, especially during the weekends.
Location is good. Breakfast is quite generous.
Rude staff and not flexible with clients though some improvement at the end. Cleanliness and comfort are not standard! Small and clumsy rooms. Lot of noise from the street, not ideal to rest.
A basic clean hotel with friendly staff in great location
Everything. It was so bad I booked another hotel before I even stayed there for one night. I paid for 5 nights and got out as fast as I could after the first night
The restaurant next door, Thai.
The place was dirty, rooms extremely small, noise was constant, and did I mention the place was not clean. You can do better for the price.
Loved the location as it is in the heart of the red light district and next to loads of coffeeshops :) the hotel also has lots of food and drink on offer which is a huge bonus also has a smoking room. Had a brilliant stay and would stay again
Close to city
*Expensive compaired to what you get. *Noisy outside even if the windows are closed, bring earplugs if you want to sleep.
Horrible hotel!! I just needed to spend an overnight in Amsterdam, so i really didn't care about the hotel, but this was too much. Small, dirty, stinky, noisy!! Honestly I was afraid to take a shower and to touch something! Avoid this hotel!
Excellent location!! Great for travellers!! I'd definitely reccomend this hotel and I'd definitely come back!! The breakfast was grand!! Every morning boiled eggs were cooked which were replaced by more when ever a batch ran out! Was worried what about how clean the room would be but we were pleasentley surprised
There was no actual safety deposit box in our room!! Ther was only one at reception which wasn't accessible 24/7 however this didn't bother me too much. Also on arrival and the day we left we had to leave our luggage in the hotel as we arrived early and our flight home was late!! The only option for us was to leave our luggage in the reception/seating area!! While I would hav preferred there to be some form of designated room for just luggage again this didn't bother me too much.
good position, nextt to the central station, free wi-fi, not expensive
the cleaning was awful and the first floor is not provided with the lift. And the stairs are quite dangerous if you have to carry your luggage.
A very good location not so far from the Station Amsterdam Centraal. Good for one night stop.
Very narrow stairs
It was close to the centre.
- The windows are too heavy and stuck. - There were no insect screens attached to the windows, so we had to sleep with the windows closed as a lot of mosquitoes were coming in our room. - the beds weren't clean, stains were on the bed linen. -Wi-fi did not work.
quite near to central station and with a nice view.
the room is really so small, we need to get across the stool to get some water and with no elevator. near to the red light zone.
Room too small....
The staff were friendly and very tolerant.
There was an issue with bed bugs in our room. We all got bitten and saw them walking about occasionally, I had to switch beds.
Only the location and the Cat Sheru.
Rooms very small WB inside the room. no ventilation. take this hotel only if you have no other option. no cleaning in the room. window in the room opens to the smoking area.
I liked the location which was great. The 24hrs reception was good as well and also the breakfast. Our room was quiet and beds were comfortable.
Many of the electrical switches (sockets) in the room didnt work. The worst was bathroom combined with toilet. There was no separated place for water going from the shower out of other parts of the room, so whole bathroom was flooded in minutes. There was prepared a broom with squeegee so you had to push the water into the drain, but still it wasn't sufficient to walk there barefoot. The wifi connection worked only by the reception, they ha the connection also on other floors but it didnt work.
Amazing location, same price as a hostel in the area but the facilities are so much better, I have stayed here twice now both times I haven't been disappointed - If you want luxury book somewhere else, but if you want to be in the heart of the red light district and within a stones throw of lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants in a room that will be mainly used for sleeping and washing this is the place to book. Each room has an en-suite wet room a TV and a clean comfortable bed. Some of the rooms are a little small we booked a twin room this year and the beds were laid out end to end with the room being a little wider than this to give you a bit of space to move around but this is what I was expecting, last year I had a triple room which was slightly more spacious. This place is just what you need for a short boozy, stoners weekend in Amsterdam and ill keep coming back here for years to come as long as the price stays right
Wifi is a bit pants to be honest kept dropping out but the rooms are just above trinity bar just go buy a beer ask for the wifi password and its not a big deal. As the hotel is over a bar that is open until 1am most nights it can be noisy so be prepared for this if you book for most it won't be an issue and to be fair unless your prepared to pay mega bucks for a hotel on Dam Sq your going to have to put up with a bit of noise wherever you stay also city tax was charged at the hotel which wasn't clear on the booking conformation so remember to take this into account when booking we paid 5%
