Beautiful property with lovely plants and flowers in the garden. I loved the location as it was a short walk to downtown town but far enough where it was quite through the night. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of windows for natural light and well ventilated. The owner was very kind and helpful. Probably my favourite accommodation during my 4 week stay in Nepal.

Pokhara is a charming and peaceful city, with nice bars, restaurants, and shops. It's much cleaner, than Kathmandu and is a nice relaxing place. The air is also cleaner and more humid. During my stay, the haze blocked the mountain views, but locals told me that the skies are usually clearer in October-November. Also, Pokhara is a starting point for many popular trekking routes, such as ABC, and is very convenient for last-minute trekking plans. For example, I did a 5-day track to Mardi Himal base camp, which was not planned, but a local company helped me to arrange everything and I also bought the missing equipment on the spot. Needless to say, the trekking was a magical experience. Pokhara is worth visiting once in Nepal.

Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May.
Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May. The sky is grey and filled with smog. Visibility is very poor and none of the surrounding mountains could be seen. Also the airport remains closed due to these weather conditions. Travel time on road between Kathmandu and Pokhara is almost 8 hours one way due to road projects.
One should travel later in the year when the visibility improves and the airport is open all day.

Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great.
Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great. It was disappointing to see so much trash around the lakeside. I am surprised YouTubers did not mention that point. We were glad we went there. We flew on Buddha Air from Kathmandu. On the day of our return back to Kathmandu, it was foggy and the flights were cancelled. We had stayed at Hotel Middle Path. I called them and they immediately sent the driver back to drive us to Kathmandu. Never have we had that type of service in all our travels.

Pl plan to go to Pokhara via Flight and not via road from kathmandu The roads are under construction and it would give your back a lot of work. Pokhara is nice and 2 day trip would complete most of the places there
We stayed at ABC on two occasions during our time in Nepal and we had a great experience both times! Very comfortable hotel in a perfect location. All staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. In particular, Manoj was always a friendly face and on hand to help with any queries we had. He even organised transport for us to get to Kathmandu when our flight was cancelled. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed, comfortable and friendly stay in a central location in Lakeside.
This is the perfect place to stay when in Pokhara. The location is amazing, north part of the lakeside and everything is reachable by foot. The hotel owner and her family are super kind and welcoming people. I loved to stay here. The room is big and clean. You get everything you need. I was even able to leave one of my bags there while I went on a trek for 8 days. Loved this place and I'm looking forward to be back. Highly recommended!
The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and spacious with an amazing shower and balcony view. The hotel is perfectly located in lakeside. The staff were exceptional, so accomodating and willing to help with all my queries such as booking tours, where to go shopping, where to post postcards etc. It felt like a home away from home. If I ever return to Pokhara I'll be sure to stay here again. Made my visit all the more perfect.
We will never get tired of the majestic views that this property gave us. This was the cherry on top of our entire trip in Nepal. The old guy, who received us warmly, was very nice and humble. The teenage girl who was serving all the food was also warm despite the language barrier. We learned that she was the one cooking all the meals and it was really tasty.
Everything is worth the money and long trip from lakeside to Kasko.
- Beautiful swimming pool with mountain view which we had all to ourselves due to low season. :)
- You can have a meal or snack of great quality at any place in the hotel, e.g. the 7th floor with view on the pool and mountains. Anything is possible in Nepal. :)
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Located in a hotel area close to the main street with shops, bars and restaurants and a few minutes walk from the river side.
Nice view, perfect location. Swimming pool on the top floor, so pretty. You can see mountains, city and lake from the restaurant. Food is good, has many choices. Room is clean and very comfortable. We have everything we need. We even want to stay here for long term. Service is great. Every staff is helpful and nice. Massage is a must try, especially after trekking. This is the best hotel in Nepal we’ve stayed.
The tranquil location was a massive draw for my husband and I to get some respite from the hectic Lakeside area. The property itself was stunning, a delicate mix of modern and classic. The food was incredible, every meal better than the last. And the staff were second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again. The best hotel, and not just in Pokhara.
Great place to stay on lakeside. The rooms were very clean and updated. The bathroom is the nicest I have seen in nepal, and the bed was very comfortable. They have an awesome coffee shop and restaurant with a great view of Annapurna from the rooftop.
The owner is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and treks. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Best accommodation and services in Nepal. Sanjog, the operation manager is truly amazing and will do more than his best to make your stay most enjoyable. My friend gots Dengue and stays at the hotel and the whole crew took care of him like he is one of the family. If you consider a stay in Pokhara near the lake and all shops & restaurants than this is the place.
It’s a beautiful location with the unique experience of waking up to the glorious Annapurna mountain range. It’s located closely to the cable car so it is fairly easy to get to Pokhara lakeside but definitely also worth it to just stay at the hotel for a relaxing time.
The room we clean and big, the bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean, the western toilet and shower were as expected, typical to Nepal hotels, hot water worked fine, staff were very pleasant, location was great, clean towels were provided, wifi worked great.
Not only is Hotel Karuna exceptionally clean and modern (I also love their sustainability focus), but their owner and staff are just lovely. They are sweet, helpful and made me feel so welcome, making this a gem of a property. My best stay in Nepal!
It’s a real 5 star hotel in Nepal. It’s beautiful. Very new, very stylish, beautiful design, great view of the lake. The staff is just the best. The owner Dorje greets guests every morning. The restaurant has beautiful view and the food is great.
A nice family-run hotel with a comfortable garden/terrace just 5 minutes walk from the main Street of Pokhara lakeside. The manager is a nice guy and also active in social work due to his brothers blindness.
This was the best hotel we stayed at while in Nepal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The garden is a nice place to chill and have a drink and it was nice to get a massage in the hotel after our trek.
Is my second time in blossom and for me is the best hotel in Nepal not only for the place but the staff, everything you can possibly need they can arrange and the food is amazing also
such a great hostel, we extended our trip twice! probably some of the biggest and most comfortable beds in all of Nepal haha! Great location on the Lakeside and very friendly staff.
It is an oasis, right on the main lakeside. Afternoon spent lying in hammock stroking Yahoo (the dog). The shower is the best I had in over a month of travelling Nepal.
Best quality-price hotel in pokhara. Room clean and staff kind and available. 8/10 just for the bathroom that is not very comfortable (as others in Nepal)
