Located in main town with all walking distance restaurants and national park

The owner, Mr. Suraj, runs the property professionally and with utmost hospitality. He also helped planning a variety of activities during my stay in Sauraha : jungle walk and jeep safari. The evening was filled with a Tharu dance cultural program whose venue is right next to the hotel. It was a memorable and pleasant stay for me in Sauraha.

best resort In Nepal everything was good

This hotel really was so much better than we expected. Staff were all very friendly, well-trained, and super helpful. They recommended and arranged all our safari activities too so our trip was completely stress-free. The location also blew our expectations as it was way better than what we saw in the pictures. It's located at a pretty quiet area with lots of little places in the hotel where you can sit back and relax. I really liked that you can walk all the way to the river from inside the hotel area.

It's really tidy and serene. Also, the staff is quite cordial. It is really worth it. The hotel arranges for everything, including transport, so you don't need to worry about getting around. What a wonderful experience we had!!! Thank you

Namaste to the whole team of this camp.Thankyou for your best Hospitality.Location was great and stay was nice but feel sad its ranning, but never mind its the nature rules. My dinner was included in room so the vegetable curry with rice was good experience and tasty .Recommended everyone to try veg curry with rice at this lodge thankyou again.

Almost everything, the location, comfort and the room especially… it was naturally cool inside.

The staffs were very friendly and specially, Mr Milan in the front office. They arranged our safari itinerary and the nature guide was amazing. The food was so good with an open kitchen that I’m currently feeling like going back. The room is well equipped and super comfortable. They have a spa called Ai Spa and the spa session was amazing. The sauna in the end helped me relax and relieve all my stress. They have a coffee shop names Ai Cafe. The coffee was so good that the entire lobby was aromatic. They have a garden in the making which sounds like an unique plan. The communication of staffs, the hospitality and service are over the top. Definitely will recommend.

Clean place, helpful staff, everything working perfectly. We booked one night and stayed 4.

Quite fair enough and budgetary

Exzellent they offer two or three night multi-day hiking in the NP. Which other accom don't offer. They were very kind and helpful- going above expectations eg cooking breakfast earlier and dropping me off at the bus stop. Also in an excellent location down the road there are 2 orphaned rhinos with the army. Very close to the accom and easy to spot. The room is what you expect good value for price.

From the minute I arrived I was treated with kindness and warmth. Flowers greeted me by the door to my room which was a nice touch. The staff was helpful in booking my tours. The location is fabulous for walking about town. BEST PART is a rhinoceros strolled through the property at nightfall every night

The best place I have been in all of Nepal. If I could give more than 10, I would. Shiva’s Hippies Colony in Sauraha is not just a guesthouse , it is a home. Raj and Swastika form a lovely family. Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

Chitwan Park Village is a wonderful place to stay near the jungle and Chitwan National Park. The property is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it’s such a pleasant experience to walk around the peaceful village of Sauraha. The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh and flavorful dishes, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, hospitable, and always ready to help. From the rooftop, you can have a perfect view of the sunrise, sunset, and the beautiful Himalaya mountains. Surrounded by nature and warm Nepali hospitality, this place offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure.

The staff was amazing. They picked us up from the bus. Made us feel welcome. Took us multiple times to see different elephant things around town (for free). Helped us arrange all or safari’s at a very reasonable price. They made our stay so wonderful and the price was great. We felt like we were staying with friends not at a hotel. I cannot recommend a better budget place to enjoy Chitwan. We could have stayed longer Thank you

Really humble and good customer care. Upgraded the room for a minimal price and was a really comfortable stay. Great and clean room. I recommend you to check out this place if you’re looking for a stay in Sauraha.
