The view was out of this world. Watched the sunrise from the Himalayas right from my bed. The staff are friendly and cooperative and the location is perfect for an unbroken view of the mountains and the valleys below. The meals were good, could be better. But the room was great! A little small but I didn't mind it, it was very cozy in the somewhat cool weather. The bathroom was perfect and the amenities provided were very good quality. The hotel is made in multiple steps at the edge of the hill, it's beautiful to look at, speacially with all the lights at nighttime.

In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and...

Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

The town itself is small and very local.

The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

nagarkot tower area was good area to chill will locals.... Momo of thakali char was best the veg option was also delicious.... met lots of exciting people around who came to visit the area......... looking forward to go again soon

We had a wonderful three-day stay at this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the balcony view of the Himalayas is absolutely fantastic. The entire service team is great, and the in-house restaurant offers incredibly delicious dishes at fair prices. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. I’m genuinely impressed — everyone was so attentive, and it’s rare to find a hotel with such a tasty restaurant. Everything here is simply perfect!

We had a fabulous mountain view room with balcony and definitely worth paying the extra. The views were wonderful and every morning we were able walk just 5mins to the hidden viewpoint for sunrise. The food was tasty, with generous portions and reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly and helpful, giving great service, giving us a lift to the bus stop. We also loved the peaceful garden setting, hot shower and heating.

Everything was exceptional from the moment I checked in. Warm and welcoming staff who were able to answer and help me with any questions I had. Hotel very good for the price - good location, hot shower, WiFi very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with a flight and Bishnu allowed me to use his own phone phone to call the airline, he helped me sort it out. Would recommend.
