Nizwa is truly captivating in its enchanting, ancient beauty. We had a wonderful experience in this hotel and felt transported into another time and world. Every detail in the hotel is charming and evocative of a bygone era. Wonderful.

This hotel deserves better reviews.
Staff is 10/10 especially Ali (I forget his full name) from Morocco. EXTREMELY kind, polite, professional and ready to serve whatever we needed.
Food was FANTASTIC! Legitimately the best food we had in all of Oman which was shocking.
All you can eat buffet at dinner for I forget how much but so worth it. Could never get something like this in the US.
Rooms were good and clean. Pool and gym were nice because nobody was there.
We even went for a Thai massage in the massage room at the top. Very professional and they did a great job.
Also about a 10-15 minute drive from the Nizwa Souq which is great. Not right in the heart of Nizwa, a bit further out but very nice and peaceful. Right next to a mall actually.
100% recommend. Thank you again and God bless 🙏

I loved that the property was surrounded by palm trees all around. So beautiful and lots of birds singing too.
The nature around the property made it so calm and soothing!
Very close to the souq area and also the walk to/from the hotel is through the old part of Nizwa town. A very charming and nice walk through old town.
Property is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful!

Nizwa is a lovely city with lots to see however it is also central to many other towns and sights within easy drives. The highlight for me is the Friday goat market and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Nizwa.

Nizwa is a beautiful little town you need to stop by if you are venturing around in Oman. The Nizwa fort is a must. I learned a lot about the country and Nizwa by walking around and seeing the exhibition and everything else. Also in Nizwa, you have a small and cute souq. I found the prices in Nizwa lower than in Muscat, especially the saffron. If you plan on going to Muscat after Nizwa, I would also recommend buying a scarf there. I also loved the fruit market where I got to taste Halwa in different styles (something I wouldn't have dared try at a restaurant) and just the smells and atmosphere were incredible.

True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf.
True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf. Citadel is worth it and well preserved. Old souks are also real. It is a nice hub to visit the area and fort around it in Hamra, Bahla and even to go to Jabal Akhdar. strongly recommend one of the charming hotels inside the old city. Problem with Niza (like much of Oman) is that outside of nature activities, there is not much to do. no good restaurants, festivals, concerts, or places to go out to.

Very nice city, souq, castle, fort and mosque all close one to each other, so really convenient to visit them together. A lot of restaurants, bars and amenities. Qaboos mosque 10mins far from city center, it needs a car to be reached.

people ale super nice. they were talking to us, waving, asking if we are happy here and wishing us good stay. beautiful old town, gorgeous old buildings. amazing and not so priced food. in central souq prices are high, but if you go to eastern souq you can meet nice people and buy good things in great prices! there’s drinkable water on the streets for free. lots of plants in whole city. unlike many big cities, Nizwa is very walkable, you don’t need a car or taxi to explore it. highly recommended:)

Nizwa is a small yet beautiful town located at an hour and a half drive from Muscat. Drive from Muscat to Nizwa and back has breathtaking views especially during winters and people are friendly.
Trip to Nizwa Souq is a must and drive around the city is enjoyable too. Souq offers the opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of Oman and Antique shops are amazing.
For those going to Jebel Akhdar, its just 35 - 40 kms from Nizwa, depending on which part of the town you are in.
It can be just a day trip for those travelling from Muscat or a weekend retreat if someone is looking for a small break.
Overall really worth a visit.
After traveling a month in Oman and staying at several dirty, worn, overpriced hotels, Nima Guesthouse was a welcome change. We loved our double room at the back of the property. Clean, comfortable, and QUIET (the best sleep I had in weeks). The manager, Houssain (and his lovely girlfriend, Nazanin), and the staff are warm and welcoming. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen to make our own meals. Nice outdoor terrace to hang out and meet other travelers. Great central location.
The building was in the historic Old town of Nizwa. A fantastic labyrinth of old buildings with lovely gardens and hidden spaces. All worth exploring. The Architects or Locals are trying to do something magical here, an so far they ae getting unit right. Long may the project run..
The Area was second to the now renowned Omani Hospitality! Nasser welcomed up and could not have been more helpful.. Nizwra I will be back...
The facilities are great and the staff and food are fantastic. While it is a little outside Nizwa (about 20 min drive all on main roads) taxis are plentiful and can be ordered from the hotel. As a relaxing environment (the pool is huge and the two bars incredibly well presented), this is a little like an oasis for those that need a quick recharge visiting the treasure trove of cultural adventure that is Oman.
The staff and manager were very friendly and shared tips and useful information for exploring the area and the rest of Oman. There were few patrons the day we stayed but the hotel still arranged a great breakfast. Excellent management. Our stay was very smooth with our 3 young children. Highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone who needs a place to stay in Nizwa.
It is a nice hotel in a traditional omani house with nice and clean rooms. It is a very special place you should not miss. The roof top terrace has a super nice view and a nice seating area to enjoy the nights up there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location directly in the old town, next to the fort and souq!
Breakfast was ok.
One of the best hotel with private pool in Oman. All pools are temperature controlled, so you can enjoy swimming any time during the day or evening. Will not get private pool in Oman at this rate.
Good breakfast and nearby reem restaurant from where you can order delicious meals.
Very good and respectful people to deal with. A must visit...
It was very nice stay. The hotel was neat and clean.
Tha staff's were friends. It is very good location near to the souq and the Nizwa fort which is at walkable distance and can witness Omani traditional dance and dramas.
The food in the Turkish restaurant just below the hotel was very good.
It was perfect!!
The staff was really friendly. We felt welcome right away. It was totally clean. The breakfast was good. It was quite, even though it's located in the center. Also the price is really good.
It was the 7th hotel we booked in Oman and it was by far the best one!
I loved the design of this hotel and the feeling of living in old Omani house.
The location of the hotel is great for who wants to explore the old city. Just 1 minute away from the Nizva fort.
The guy who helped us to check in was very friendly. Thanks to him.
Perfect location, very well maintained, clean and well equipped.
Ideal for families looking for a perfect getaway.
The pool is well maintained.
Highly recommend this place to stay if planning to visit Jebel shams and Jebel akhdar and places near Nizwa.
great location 1 min from the souk , good breakfast that you can enjoy on the terrace by contemplating nizwa , very nice staff , very helpful. The hotel is divided in differences houses , very well renovated keeping the old style.
Very clean and comfortable and well located in charming Nizwa. Quiet and relaxing but close to everything. Very kind hospitality and I would definitely stay here again if visiting Nizwa. Parking nearby was very convenient.
Excellent location near Nizwa Fort and restaurants. Spacious accommodation with everything we needed. Nice view of the fort. Free parking onsite. Easy check in and check out. Quiet. Clean. Had a great stay!
the pool , gym , breakfast
check in / out was super fast it took less than 5 min
the mall + wadina water park is close to the hotel
nizwa suq took 10 min
Oman museum is 15 min from hotel
The Hotel location, Rooms and ambience were very traditional, which was the most attractive part of our stay. It gave a nice connect with the Omani tradition.
