A Green Coastal Wonderland
Sopot is a green coastal town in northern Poland that will fascinate you with its beautiful parks, landscaped gardens, Art Nouveau houses and golden beaches. This famous holiday resort is home to the longest wooden pier in Europe and an old iconic lighthouse overlooking the city.

Sopot is a great place I would rather say an under promoted...
Sopot is a great place I would rather say an under promoted place. It is beautiful. Hel is also another hidden gem which is also under promoted to the international tourist. May be the that is one of the reason of this as it does not have that much foot fall like anyother popular costal cities of Europe, you will find peace, there is no rush on street or on the beach. It is kind of take your time and explore. One thing which the local goverment could pay attention to clear a bit of Algae from the beach of Sopot. Gdyansk on the other hand is renovanting its water front which is a good move. For Hel it is a beauty , the local government has done everything possible in its capabilty but I think Polish central goverment should give it a thought to improve the connectivity between Gdyansk and Sopot. A beautiful city, the polish people we met were super helpful and accommodating. The polish language is hard to learn but people made their best attempt to speak to us in english. Our dollar went a long way. The city was super clean and completely safe. We want to comeback for Christmas.

Sopot town is absolutely the best choice when planning...
Sopot town is absolutely the best choice when planning holidy in Tri-City area. The spa town atmosphere gives it special vibes. From Sopot you can easily walk along the beach to Gdynia (Orlowo beach). From the pier (molo) there are daily cruises to Hel (must-see), to Gdansk (must-see) and touristic cruises around the coast. Moving around the Tri-City by train is also simple, the train goes every 15-20 minutes. Sopot offers lots of restaurants, bars and sweet shops, all places provide great quality and great service. Next time I definitely want to rent a bike for the whole day and explore the area towards Oliwa valley as the trails are well developed. Simply a place that you fall in love with!AAnonymous

Convenient location since it's only a 22 minute walk (or 11 minute bus journey) from Sopot station which can be reached from Gdańsk airport in less than 45 minutes by bus and/or train. The room had plenty of things in the cupboards like a hob, tea/coffee, and even a sandwich toaster (I didn't use any of these though). Comfortable bed. There was a sink too.
