I liked the location.
For the night that I stayed, there was only one room available. I wanted a room with a window looking out to the beach but instead had no view from my room. However, for the value, it was a great place to stay.
The Hotel at the very nice entrance, but when you're in the room No privacy could not rest anything. Everyone had to go through my door to get out. It looked like a Motel.
Location, right in the beach
Lot of hidden fees, you will end up paying more than advertised. The internet is not working in rooms. No storage room for keeping luggage, all bags will be piled up in the corridor. Room is chilly, no way to open window etc.
Great price in the off season.
Room was too cold at night. We could not adjust the room temperature. We loved everything else. We have recommend this hotel to our airline employees.
Rooms were simple but cozy and clean. The hotel has an amazing terrace right in front of the beach. Excellent location!
We stayed only one due horrible noise and no staff available to resolve situation, they charged us for three nights. We initially booked the room through Booking.com, which forwarded our billing info to the hotel. Our first night stay was absolutely horrible. First, we had a cocktail (pina colada) at their in-house bar, which was the worst we had anywhere on the island. Generally, I would suck it up (literally) and chalk it up to a bad day for the bartender. In this case, however, they're using an auto-pour liquor control system which pours the exact amount of each component. Watery, very little rum (or maybe watered down), basically faintly-flavored coconut ice. I told the bartender that it's too bad that they were serving such substandard drinks to their guests. The funny thing was that he nodded his head in agreement, and pretty much said that he knew but really couldn't do anything about it because of the owners. OK, a bad drink, could be worse. I really wasn't going to post a bad review just based on that. However, fast forward to 3 a.m. and we're in bed trying to sleep while there's a party in the room across the hall from us ... people screaming and laughing at the top of their lungs all night long. It was so bad that when I finally gave up trying to sleep and went down to the lobby to find staff to deal with it, I could still clearly hear the screams in the lobby, on the ground floor! Unfortunately, there was no staff to be found, not at the desk, not outside the hotel, nowhere. Several hours later I returned to the lobby and found a clerk, to whom I complained and seemed oblivious to the fact that there wasn't a clerk at the desk the night before, or at least part of it. She admitted that that was unacceptable and that we shouldn't have had to deal with the noise. We decided that we weren't going to risk another night like that, so we checked out.
Ocean view through dirty, broken window in this tiny room that got suckered in to pay more money for!
This hotel lacks a basic upkeep to say the list. Lack of maintenance is clearly visible.
It was in front of the beach. However the beach was dead all holiday weekend.
No atmosphere (ambiente) anymore. I guess it used to be a friendly hotel. But it has declined enormously.
I like to stay here since it is located close to everything in Condado and it is right in front of the beach. I can walk everywhere and is convenient for good dining and shopping. Why pay more money to stay in one of the other expensive hotels in Condado when you can stay in Atlantic for less in same location? The staff is very nice and knowledgeble, they want you to be comfortable.
The only thing I don't love is the parking but I have never had an issue with it. Also, they must invest in a better elevator for those that prefer to use it. In my case, I always use the stairs, it just has a few floors to walk up.
That it eliminates all of the extra you have to go through went you stay at a upscale hotel. Just park your car in front, get out, check in, drop your luggage, and go out and enjoy San Juan.
Nothing, you are NOT paying hundreds of dollars to have a ocean view so don't expect too much of extra small things, which I think don't matter that much.
The front desk lady and the bell hop. They were friendly and welcoming.
The hotel evicted me for smoking in the hotel room when I was fast asleep. The staff came banging on my door while I was asleep. I had the chain on, I was sleeping. At 2 am when I woke , I found a letter stated I had broke the law and could be evicted for smoking and also anything illegal I could be evicted for. I waited until day light , had a conversation with the management and they insisted, I broke the law, they owed me no apology and they wanted me out of their establishment in 30 minutes or I would end up paying the entire 14 day stay. I left, reported the Audasity of a Hotel to evict a woman who has traveled 25 years and graduated from a hotel motel management program. NOt to mention I worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago Il for 3.5 years. Trained in all aspects of the hotel field and how to entertain in the Hospitality Field
The hotel was absolutely amazing. It is right at the beach (where you get free sunbeds) and there is a beautiful terrace right above the beach where you can sit all day and watch the sea. The room was very clean and modern. There was everything we needed. The bathroom was also clean and it wasn't small at all. The reception also offered safe boxes free of charge. The personnel was really kind and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed (from renting a car and calling a cab to giving us directions and recommendations for great places to check out!). The cleaning ladies were also very kind and hard-working! I definitely recommend this hotel! If you go there, I also recommend checking out Pinky's for smoothies/coffee/sandwiches and Cafe del Angel for the PuertoRican specialty mofongo. They are both very close to the hotel!
The AC in the building was centrally controlled and at times it was way too cold in our room. They gave us blankets from the reception though, which made it better.
The sea view and the staff
My sheets were hardly changed, i had to complain
The accommodations were right on the beach! The hotel had great bar and great staff!
Small rooms but well affordable in very posh quater
Great customer service from the very beginging that you arrive. The bar staff was amazingly friendly and fun.
Only the location
Service and room extremely bad
The hotel is very nice, there is a good ambience in the rom looking over the beach
They charge you for parking you car and the old lady in the front desk is a nasty woman
the bar music ended at midnight so we had a good nights rest! Also, we had a secure place to put our rental car.
Only one person to handle several guests at once.
The room was clean.
I'm a seasoned traveler. The service here was terrible. The manager was rude and unpleasant...not at all interested in providing good customer service. Too many restrictive rules. Toilet didnt work for 2 days... I would highly deter someone from staying there. Very bad experience.
They actually rented me a two bedroom apartment The apartment had ceiling fans, air conditioning, a full kitchen
The apartment was right by the garage. It was in the rear ground floor so there was no view of the beach or anything. When I checked in, they told me I had been given an upgrade. I thought, great. The clerk lead me out of the hotel to an adjacent building. An old small television.
1. The ocean view is spectacular, hearing the ocean while sleeping is unique. 2. Very Clean, organized. 3. Right on the sad, walk out your room and feel the waves.
*Paid $100 non-annouced for insurance (Marriott charges like $20...) 1. Forced to share a bathroom with another room, not announced. 2. AC is terribly low for 90 degree weather, nonadjustable. 3.No fridge... 4. Can't keep window open to enjoy view. 5. Too much paperwork for a sorry room. 6. Staff is very unprofessional. 8. Elevator is cramped, hot and slow. 9. Parking availability is almost non-existent.
Location :perfect! View& access to beach: perfect! Restaurants close : perfect!
A nice cafe would be great!
Beds and barebones. Bathroom needs help!
No fridge or microwave.
