It was a perfect location for all the activities we did. The host was amazing, she helped us by giving us recommendations to places that would interested us.
This scenic resort in Puerto Rico is near El Yunque Rain Forest. It is located on a 300-foot cliff overlooking the ocean.

Where do I begin. The moment we pulled up to the statuesque el conquistador I knew I chose the right place. Photos did not and could not capture how stunning this property is. The Grecian white facade against the popping shades of green lush tropical grounds are truly what Caribbean vacations are made of. Glimpses of teal water peak through every crevice of this property. The pools are grand, not overcrowded and there was always a chaise waiting for me. The DJ and music at the pool was a surprise & mixed trending music with older as well with a PR twist. Multiple restaurants to choose from, my particular favorites Bono, their fine dining and the Cantina which is poolside. Honorable mention to the upper level terrace restaurant overlooking the pool. My husband says it was the best empanada he’d ever had. The drinks there are spectacular and the ambiance and sweeping views of the ocean and the cliffside jaw dropping. I also loved the wine bar… It was quaint and felt like a Spanish winery we stumbled on perfectly placed across from the ice cream shops (yes, two). Moving into our room, the deluxe marina suite was gorgeous and once again pictures did not do the space justice. The space was beautiful and well thought out. We had a spectacular bath, modern with a Spanish twist. Tons of storage for clothing etc. We had a fairly private deep balcony that was wonderful to start and end our day on. Palamino island; ferry ran lock clockwork and was enjoyable and under 15m. The island is outstanding! The water is warm and clear, the sand like powder, the restaurant has excellent food, the poke bowl excellent as was the ceviche. Don’t miss the store there - excellent beer and seltzer options. Smoothies and beach gear as well! Lastly, perks like the smoothie a is bowl shop, 6 shops that I counted that has everything from kid stuff to stunning swim attire and hats.

It was the perfect location for us because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour and not have to drive at night.
Most tours offices are right around the corner

just traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time and after looking online decided to stay at El Conquistador. First things first there is no airport shuttle and the resort is almost an hour from the airport. We were able to find an uber which was around 45 bucks to take us to the resort but due to its location when we checked out we had to have the resort set up transportation to the airport and it was 135 bucks. The resort exterior is very beautiful and after pulling in and seeing it I was very excited to see our room. Lets just say it was not as beautiful. We stayed in room 1312 which you had to take a trolley to reach. It was listed as a double queen room, the queen mattresses were set on top of a wooden platform so they sit very low to the ground. The resort is not beachside you have to take a boat over to the private beach that closes at 5pm. FYI the waterpark consist of three slides and a lazy river. The restaurant that is located upstairs that serves breakfast was extremely hot and was not air conditioned. I decided to try the brunch at the restaurant down by the Marina closest to our room. I went in and was seated by the hostess, I sat there over 25 min. I ended up leaving and when the hostess asked why I was leaving I explained that I had been waiting for over 25 min and was not even greeted. The internet is very unstable in our room. So watching Netflix in the rooms was very challenging. The hospitality and service at this resort was terrible. All in all I will never stay at this resort again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Fajardo is close to everything.
Fajardo is close to everything. About 45 minutes to the airport. Great location for visiting the beach. Great beaches, food and entertainment. I recommend going to Culebra island and Icacos island when staying there. Luquillo is only 15 minutes away and it has a lot to offer.

We had dinner at "Sal y Pimienta by the Sea", a well known restaurant in Fajardo on PR-987. We had stuffed fish, platanos, rice & beans, shrimp and every meal was tasty. We shopped at the supermarket "Pueblo" and they were very well stocked. We even bought a whole cooked chicken, which was our dinner one night. It was also very tasty and well cooked. We even traveled a short distance to the rain forest called El Yunque and went zip-lining with my daughter. This was an amazing trip.

The beaches are great (seven seas) ,but to do snorkelling, it is necessary to go to the near islands with a boat at the ferry terminal. The location offers plenty of possibilities and tours to visit these islands. There you will find nice fishes and turtles to observe as well as cristal clear water and white sand.
Restaurants are expansive compared to Europe but it is the same in all places in Puerto Rico. We preferred to buy and cook at home.
If you want cheap restaurants, you will have to choose Burger King or MacDonald which are not very local. It is necessary to have a car to buy food. There is a small store near the house.

The Fajardo Inn was a very good place to stay.
The Fajardo Inn was a very good place to stay. The restaurants that we liked were located 3 miles away in the Los Croabas (Seven Seas) area, not hard to get to after the first trip. We visited the El Yunque Nation Forest and hiked the trail to the Babbit Tower. We, also did the night kayak tour to the Bio Bay. Both activities were good experiences!
The hotel is in an incredible location and the views are breath-taking. The pools are also beautiful and Palomino stunning. However the actual rooms, while having incredible balconies, feel dated. They did not look like they were worth the price. In our room there were some issues with the AC which meant the floors were wet and slippery in the bathroom. The phone in the room did not work. Aside from this, the staff is super attentive, the welcome drink is a nice touch and the fact that they have an alto grande cafe was a huge bonus.
Breakfast was good but prices are super high , my family of 3 childrens , husband and i , always spend average of $120 and $140 on breakfast.
Parking is suck, no vallet , and from where you need to park to main entrance is a super long walk, soecially when raining, which we had one day , also ko room service at all.
We paid $530 a night and not worth it at all , do not recommend it here , better to stay at One of the hotels in San Juan .
A super spacious, modern and sleek condo with a great covered patio. the kitchen was well equipped with appliances. There was a cupboard full of spices and oils for cooking. the pool was just up the hill. we had booked several boat trips out of Fajardo and our Airbnb was less than 5 minutes away. most restaurants and stores were five or ten minutes from the condo. Carlos responded very quickly with any question I had. it was a great stay!
Maritza made the booking and check-in process seamless. We arrived at the property and she was there waiting for us. We quickly went up to see the condo and given precise instructions on what we needed to know for our stay. If you're staying in Fajardo, look no further. This place has it all and it's within minutes of everything amazing in Fajardo and Eastern Puerto Rico!
I liked every single thing about it. Starting from the owner being such a nice person. Comfortable, clean, spacious room for couples, guest room is a decent size. Living, kitchen and dinning room are all spacious, fridge is the small/medium one. Close to everything. Will recommend and stay again.
El timón bakery was recommended to us by our host and it was great for a good breakfast and coffee. We loved the location of our room, very nice and with an unforgettable view, the best!! Went to the Marina for dinner recommended by our host too and food was delicious really enjoyed it.
The place was amazing, super clean, beautiful and the location great. The owner is super nice and available for anything. Love my stay there - I would recommend it 200% !! She did an amazing job with this place !!! So much better then any hotel I went during my week in Puerto Rico!
Right in front of a lot of kayaking tours and a little park and town. Really cute to walk around. The hotel was more than I expected! Like a cute apartment and had a back door to an awesome open patio that led right to the kayaks. Owner was so nice! I definitely would stay again
We loved our three nights at the Nautik. The apartment is close to the activities starting from Fajardo so we didn't need to take the car. We were also able to visit Luquillo and El Yunque, very easy to get to.
Gaby was a great host! My daughter enjoyed feeding the fish!
The staff were very nice, and there is a parrot in the lobby, so that's fun
The restaurant on site was pretty good for dinner ( Mexican food)
There are a lot of amenities on the property ( 2 pools, mini golf, tennis court, basketball court) but there was no one using them
This room was great with access to all the activities in and around Fajardo. There are lots of places to eat and enjoy. The room itself had all you could ask for - bed, bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. The A/C worked very well and was very comfortable.
The view was magnificent! Overlooking the ocean was definitely the best thing about the stay. The golf course was absolutely spectacular as we were able to accommodate a tee time without any problems. we booked it online directly with the resort.
the hotel has magnificent views
the staff was extremely nice
food was very good and the price reasonable
water park was super fun
jacuzzi with a view is awesome
palomino island was really nice to swim in sea eater
Beautiful place. Clean and plenty of space. Can watch the sunrise from the veranda. Close to El Yunque, water taxis in Los Croabas and Fajardo shopping. Very quiet when we were there.
Great hotel and good facilities. The room is a little outdated but it's big and comfortable. Short drive to nice beaches in Fajardo or Luquillo as well as el Yunque National Forest.
