everything was just perfect, the staff, the room, the vibe.
Close to the beach, don't miss the view from the rooftop on the last floor and also the Hot tub. Excellent value for the price!

Everything. The view, the pool, the breakfast
We rented a Jeep through the hotel as well and it was the best decision ever. Punta arenas is gorgeous for snorkeling

Practically nothing. Very old abandoned and runned down place. Absentee owner. Place has been for sale for a while.

We had an amazing stay at Isla Hermosa Guesthouse. It's family friendly, super comfortable, and close to everything we needed or wanted to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home away from home. The best part were the beautiful animals on the property (chickens, roosters, cats, peacocks, and horses). We would definitely stay again.

We spent one night on Vieques, and it was enough time.
We spent one night on Vieques, and it was enough time. There is currently an issue with too much seaweed on the beaches on one side of the island, so we restricted our visit to the resort we stayed at and then we walked around the area near the ferry terminal to have a bite to eat and buy souvenirs. If you rent a car or golf cart, use caution when driving. There are wild horses and chickens in the roads frequently. It is a beautiful island.

If you have dreamed of having your own private beach...Vieques is for you! Bring everything you need because there are no facilities on the beaches. Very beautiful, but I think Flamenco beach in Culebra is perfection. My fave is Luquillo Balnearion Monserrate...so convenient.

Most of the remote beaches on the east side are closed due to stray bombs. They do not advertise this fact well.
The social climate on Vieques is somewhat hostile. The vendors are dishonest, trying to rip you off. Lots of rude people, drunks and bums. A fistfight and shouting match broke out on our ferry ride. The locals and strays seem to be annoyed by the masses of tourists. The restaurants are a bit expensive.
Overall it's a huge hassle getting to the island and then finding a car/cart. You're probably better off staying on the big island beaches. That being said, it's a beautiful spot and there's some nice snorkeling spots.

We came to see the BioBay.
We came to see the BioBay. It is quite a chore to get over there, so make it worth your while! We ate at Bananas and talked with a few of the locals. Got to see the wild horses that are all around the island. Enjoyed a sunset walk oceanside.

Must explore the island.
Must explore the island. So many beaches and scenery to view. Use the time to dine at smaller local restaurants as well for local cuisine. All rental and tourist support places were friendly and very helpful!

Vieques is gorgeous! There are so many beach opportunities.
Vieques is gorgeous! There are so many beach opportunities. We visited only four beaches on this trip since we spent only one day on Vieques. However, we loved driving across the island on a golf cart and taking in all the scenes. The horses everywhere give it a magical feel, and everyone is so friendly and laid back. Make sure to have cash as many vendors/food trucks don't take cards. The bio bay is INCREDIBLE and should be on everyone's bucket list!!
Excellent, for a country where different languages are spoken, this hotel makes you feel at ease without any strangeness, the hotel is located on the hill, from the secluded path to the hotel reception, you can hear the wind ringing on the way, which makes you feel calm and away from the hustle and bustle, and the staff here are very warm and try to meet your needs, you can see that they like their work very much. If I have another chance to visit here, I will come here again. Thank you finca staff for the wonderful journey!
Great location! Walking distance access to a few beaches and activities (of course a car or golf cart is always recommended on an island, but we did well without one on this short stay). The hostess Suzann was most gracious and helpful navigating leisure opportunities. She really went above and beyond to make this stay feel special. I would recommend this place to a friend and would absolutely go back.
This section of the island is particularly charming with its wild horses roaming around 🐴
Lejos exceeded our expectations. We go once a year to Vieques to disconnect and recharge and Lejos will definitely be our go to option for our stay.
Patricia and Phil (the owners) run the property and are great hosts. Patricia’s culinary abilities are top. We loved the breakfast, specially the tortilla española.
They are pet friendly. We were able to travel from puerto rico with our pet. 🙌🏼
Location was great, just a few steps and you’re on the Malecon, walking along the water. Beds were comfortable and there was decent water pressure with water that gets very hot. It’s self check in and out, but the hosts are pretty responsive via text. Air conditioning works well. All the staff at the adjoining bar are great (just don’t bother them when they are busy! That place gets slammed!)
The tents were quite spacious. Proper washrooms and clean showers, as they are attached to the backside of the host's residence. The host was quite helpful and also showed us around the island before dropping us at the ferry terminal.
