Structure: full of nature, amazing forest around the hotel, they have a worderfull relax zone in the middle of woods. Little route also for make an amazing walk in the morning (20/30 minutes) with an incredible panorama. Is amazing the garden in front of the restaurant, with the good season it will be a dream (this weekend was too cold). There is also a swimming pool. (Not possible use cause was cold).
Room: Amazing forniture. Very country stile. Gift: little pack of biscuits // all super clean.
Staff: The cleaning ladies and the man on the bar/restaurant where gently and smile to us. The man on the bar/restaurant even want to offers to us a beirao after the dinner but the waitress was not aware and we paid. But I appreciate the gesture of the man.
Restaurant: very innovative idea, if you didn't finish your wine bottle, they will put a label with your room number and you can consume also the day before, you have just to ask to when you want it. Very Very good idea.
The spa: good sauna little rooms (the one dry and humid one) well clean all the spa.
Extra: the dog present in the structure is the most lovely one. Seems a member staff and spread love to all the guests.
I suggest to go on this structure when is totally summer in order to not use too much the inside and enjoy the outside service.

Mafra is a quiet little town with great historical value, complemented by the quality of the local bread, pastries and food in general. Another bonus is its location, very close to Lisbon, Sintra, as well as several great beaches, such as Ericeira.

Mafra is a very interesting city.
Mafra is a very interesting city. If you are lucky you can enjoy a concert of 6 organs in the basilica of the Palacio Nacional de Mafra. Mafra can be reached by car from Lisboa airport or Belem in less than 45 minutes if there is no heavy traffic. It is possible to visit Batalha, Tomar, Cabo Carvoeiro and Opidos in a day trip from Mafra. Alternative daytrips are Belem, Lisboa or Sintra. Mafra has fine restaurants with delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine.
Stayed at this beautiful apartment while attending a wedding at a Vineyard. A home from home. Exceptionally large apartment, swimming pool, sun deck & sun loungers. Perfect for a family of 4 adults. 10 minutes walk to centre of Mafra. Palace definitely worth a visit. 6 euro enterance. Excellent local restaurants & cafes. Great food & value for money.
All the construction and decoration of the village respects a moment in time when electricity was still a novelty. And all this, without losing the comfort of modern times. The friendliness of our host. The excellent location, as although we are in the middle of hills and valleys, we are also very close to the beac, to Mafra and even to Lisbon.
Location was excellent in that it was a short distance to Lisbon, Mafra, Sintra, Ericeira, and the coast. It was on a cul-du-sac in a tiny pastoral town. The patio was enormous and well equipped for outdoor dining and lounging. We also appreciated the washing machine. We’d like to return for a longer stay.
"Small is beautiful" may be appropriate for the house, but is not the right scale for the friendliness, kindness and support that is provided during its occupancy.
Nothing missing for a good score, but the locatin reinforces it: central and one step away from the Mafra Palace
At five minutes walking distance from the Mafra cathedral and any important place such as the grocery store, pharmacy or any other, it is located perfectly! Pleasant, sparkling clean and with tons of amenities; it is a perfect spot to spend some nights with family or friends!
The apartment was cute and the beds comfortable. Nice to discover a bottle of wine to enjoy on the terrace upon arrival.
The hosts were responsive.
Easy walk to the Mafra Palace & some restaurants.
Cookie on the bed.
The location was absolutely beautiful. Located a few minutes outside of Mafra on a lovely horse boarding and dressage facility, our stay at this picturesque place was great. And the hosts are very kind and welcoming.
Everything. Large space, clean room, great location in the central area, and a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Mafra for 1 or 2 days. Highly recommended!
Rooms are very nice and clean. Great swimming pool. Possibility to take a hike in the woods. All sorts of places to relax surrounding the hotel. Really nice atmosphere.
The hotel is within a walking distance from the gorgeous XVIII cent. palace/monastery of Mafra. The staff is welcoming and the facilities are comfy and clean.
