I liked the rooms were freshly refurbished, and it seemed as if the hotel was recently modernized. Really nice bathroom facilities. The breakfast was wonderful, especially coffee and mamaliga. The hotel is located in the city center. Definitely go for a 15 min walk around the city center. A nice city with Hungarian history and heritage in the middle of Romania.

We are seasoned travelers, yet this is the first time we can say that the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Kara is a splendid apartment, very spacious, nicely furnished, comfortable and spotless, located in a quiet area on a hill, less than 1km from the city center and a 10-minute ride from Mini Transylvania Park. It has two cozy, restful bedrooms, two bathrooms with separate toilets (bidet & bathtub in one of them and a shower in the other), large and well equipped kitchen, perfect for dining with family and friends, a homey living room that can be used by larger groups as a third bedroom, great terrace with nice garden furniture, a hammock and a superb view to nature. The owners are kind, unobtrusive and efficient, and have a very cute dog that's extremely friendly and well behaved.
