I missed my flight thanks to the horrendous airport traffic and its terrible design! To top it off, there was only one access point for returning the rental car. Now, I'm stuck shelling out an extra 1000 SAR for a new ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages.
Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages. Lots of it is being renovated, so going to be even better in future
corniche was lovely to walk along. Beaches were not accessible along there though. Perhaps to do with Ramadan?
Red Sea Mall is probably very nice if you like shopping - not really my thing so didnt stay too long!
We told about other beaches where you could go snorkelling. But had limited time on our visit to do this. Having seen sting ray, turtle and tons of fish when walking along the Corniche I wish we had had time to do it

Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything...
Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything is far away from everything. The old town of Yeddah is a must see. We enjoy the walk first in the morning alone because was Friday and nobody was in there and everything was closed but we can stop at the fantastic houses to see them and take pictures. We ate in a traditional fish restaurant was perfect and then evening and night time the old city was alive plenty of people shopping and walking.
The market is a big market with 100 of little chops away, every street with a particular item so every shop on the street is selling only the particular item: one place for clothes, an other shops with perfumes, food, sandals...etc.
The museum is interesting but far from the old town.
The Corniche with the see, harbour and the Mosque floating upon the sea is 30 Km by car from the Old City, is growing every day with a new restaurant, buildings, also you can see the families enjoying the day or the evening.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, stands as a bustling metropolis that effortlessly fuses tradition with modernity, captivating visitors with its vibrant culture and rich history. Renowned as the gateway to Mecca, Jeddah proudly showcases a unique blend of ancient charm and contemporary allure. Its Red Sea coastline invites mesmerizing views and offers a haven for seaside relaxation and recreation. The city's Old Town, Al-Balad, is a treasure trove of heritage, boasting ornate historic buildings adorned with intricate wooden latticework known as "jeddahias." Traffic is busier than you think, weather is hotter than you imagine, streets are cleaner than you expect, prices are more expensive than you plan, driving is harsher than what you were told, transportation is weak for such a wonderful city. Private cars can give you cheaper ride than taxi. Uber is damn expensive, basic hair cut can be around $10 USD.
The staff was very helpful, English speaking. Very good and fast communication with staff, they could recommend the places to visit. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kichenette well equipped, bathroom clean and functional.
The huge advantage is a great swimming pool at the roof. It is clean, well organized. Available to ALL guests!
The location is perfect - close to restaurants, shops, good transportation, short distance to interesting places.
During our 3 weeks in Saudi Arabia it was the most friendly hotel!
I love how big the rooms were! Did look luxurious :) They have everything provided too if you want to cook your own food for eg: the microwave, the cooking pots, dishes, cutlery etc. were provided which was really nice - I have not seen that in others hotels. The bathrooms have hair dryers and a mirror that lights up like a selfie mirror which was cool. The receptionists and staff members were amazing - they listen to your concerns or any requests you have and try their best to accommodate your requests.
Amazing luxurious atmosphere, classy and vintage.. old furniture but immaculately clean.
The staff listened to our needs and we were surprised with Executive Suite upgrade, thanks yo Mr. Alaa.
Location is nice, opposite Corniche, need a taxi to go to a supermarket to a mall or walk 15 minutes to reach any nearby shop.
Cafes are nearby to reach within 10 minute walk.
Will for sure recommend the hotel you all my friends and will be coming back again..
My room was amazing. The quality of the furniture, fittings, fixtures, accessories is like at premium 5 star hotels (Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental etc). Friendly and helpful staff. Great price. Good location - in terms of location I am not the best advisor as it was my first visit to Jeddah and I don't know the city well enough to give an objective review. In addition, in room dining quality of food was great but be aware that the portions are huge!
This an excellent 5 star hotel which offered an excellent facility in all aspects from the best breakfast and most comfortable bed on our trip to Saudi Arabia. The location right on the Jeddah cornishe is a lovely spot and the morning walks opposite the hotel observing the red sea tropical fish and evening strolls were memorable. This hotel deserves a far higher rating than many on booking.com.
The staff was the most hospitable and nice as what we found anywhere in Saudi Arabia. We only spent a few hours before our flight, so didn't get to eat breakfast, but overall the room was really nice and clean. Many restaurants and shops nearby at walking distance. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport with only 15 min drive.
Hotel standard was easily 5 star. Location was close to shopping malls, restaurants etc. Staff at the reception were very cordial and helpful. Highlight for me was the rooftop lounge on the 11th floor where hotel guests clustered to watch the World Cup It's easily luxury at an affordable price...
Very nice front desk, also staff were helpful, food was up to standard (coffee, cornflakes, eggs, fruits, etc.) and the room was very clean and like a 5 star hotel.
A very nice and clean hotel close to Jeddah airport!! Bell boy Mubarak was very helpful in organising our transport to Makkah! I would definitely stay here again!
