High season provided seamless transfer services with songthaew at the pier. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. The beachfront villa we stayed in had an outdoor pavilion perfect for watching the sunset. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, especially Jay, who organized our activities, and Nam, Prea, and Bam, all made our vacation truly enjoyable.
Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of sea, Rim Lay is located in Ko Kood, a few steps from Ao Jark Beach.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special.
It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.
We were in Thailand for 3 weeks & this was the best resort we stayed at. The rooms are very nice and clean. Enjoyed the outside shower. Lush green garden all around - very well taken care of. Beach is nice. The resort is very well designed for relaxation but you can also use kayaks, paddle boards etc for free. Walking distance to another close by beach. Nice pool area.
Food at the restaurant is amazing. Excellent Thai food and breakfast choice is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again.
This place is amazing - great staff, great food, great atmosphere. The resort is 10 min walk from the nearest beach. For others you need to have a scooter - you can rent one from the owner for 250 baht/day. The place is quiet and peaceful. In the beginning I was supposed to stay just for three nights, but I liked it so much that I decided to extend my stay.
The restaurant in the resort is open from 6 pm to 8 pm and serves amazing Thai food. I strongly recommend this place for a stay on Koh Kood. I would definitely come back again.
Located on one of the best beaches on the island. Sea is always deep enough for swimming. Sea often has waves, but they are gentle and fun.
Room is a good size with a decent shower. Cleaned and fresh linen provided every 2 days.
Location is blissfully quiet at night.
Staff are lovely.
Moped hired at resort - 250 to 300b per day - you will need one to explore the island.
Good restaurant on site, and only 10min walk to the shop and Thai restaurant at Walk in Homestay (amazing food and best chicken & cashew I have ever had).
The Medea is located on a beautiful Beach (the best in Koh Good, in our opinion). Our stay was 8 nights in Dec 22. Unfortunately the Equipment, Service and Breakfast is a bit simple and not really warm and welcoming. We expected a simple Hotel, so we were not disappointed but the Owner and Service Pax could definitely be more friendly and service minded. Tables and chairs could be replaced too. The bungalow was in a good condition .. nothing to complain.
Everything! The staff are amazing, they make you feel like family. The location is breathtaking, its like being in the middle of a rainforrest but at the beach, the sounds of the birds and the rain it was amazing. Also very handy shop nearby.
The food was the best Ive ever experienced in any hotel.
In addition to High Season staff, every other person I met on Koh Kood was so kind, friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful community.
The beach was gorgeous.
Make sure you go at the right season. Rainy season curtail sea sports.
Island very "primitive". Transportation on island are motorbikes but roads are narrow n hilly and rental of trucks which are quite pricey. Can't go anywhere on foot. An island where one just want to stay put, enjoy t beach. No shops n only a few restaurants. Have to eat in the hotel. Food in Siam Beach was quite good but a bit pricey.
Rooms are beautiful, bathroom especially. Location is perfect, Staff are great. The included activities was convenient and increased the value and ease of our stay. Considering we visited in low season, we couldn’t be more impressed by what a great time we had; made possible due to the hotels comfortable amenities.
We have stayed here many times so we were very satisfied with the upgrade they have made on-site after staying here 3 years ago and we are very happy to see friendly faces there and the on-site restaurant and bar upgrades. A real relaxing fair priced end to our last week in Thailand after 3.5 weeks of traveling.
Beautiful small resort built over the water. Food in the restaurant is exceptional. The staff are beyond helpful, Robert and Jane were outstanding. Beautiful outlook with beach out and another long beach less than 10 minute easy walk away.
It is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever seen. The beach there is breathtaking and the water is super clean. The resort offers many sport/Lesieur equipment for free. The food was delicious, and the staff were nice and helpful.
Everything was perfect, definately one of the best place in Thailand!!! Thalay is a friendly and fantastic person, always here when needed. The place, the food... Make you feel at home. Will come back for sure!
We stayed here for the second time this year because of how great it is here. The staff are so friendly and the food is some of the beat in thailand, also great location on the island.
Very friendly, Nai and his family were lovely and the food kn the restaurant was some of the best I've eaten in Thailand. Nice, clean rooms, couldn't do enough for me.
